Induction Neckloop for use with telecoil equipped hearing aids.

Didn't seem to work well at all.
I bought this for my grandmother who uses hearing aids that support transmitting audio via induction. We particularly tried this with her phone with me giving her a call and trying to talk to her from another room. She found it to not be very clear at all. The audio seems actually to have been significantly worsened versus even just using nothing at all (let alone the better clarity a good headset might offer.)I think because of the way they work they do likely lose a lot of fidelity along the way. They offer a lot of convenience perhaps, but people who have hearing aids need fidelity more than convenience. The convenience factor seems to be mostly defeated by this, though perhaps in some special occasions where headphones or whatever may not do these might at least be better than absolutely nothing.

Terrible sound quality
Lots of static and distortion when using it with Bilateral Cochlear Implants on Telecoil setting. It gets worse the more you turn up the volume control. Not worth the hassle of returning . I got the Clearsounds CLA7-V2, Clearsounds Quattro, Quattro 4.0 and The Bellman and Symfon and they all have excellent sound quality compared to this model. Definitely look at one of those other brands if you need a Telecoil neckloop

Tricky but worth it.
We had problems at the start. The audio connector wasn't seating correctly. Then we had troubles with its volumn control vs the control on the computer. Finally we had trouble with the coil trying to cling too tightly around the neck. It needs to have a large shoulder width loop to really work well.We fixed the loop problem with the help of a couple feet of 12 gauge copper electrical wire. With it holding the loop nicely open, the sound comes through wonderfully. Make sure the plug goes all the way into your computer and set the computer sound level to normal speaker level before you connect the coil. Then it works great. We're buying an extra one just to surprise our friends. Then we may buy another after that.

Not worth it for iPhone users.
The intent was to use in conjunction with an iPhone. Too much static to be useable. Tried different batteries and there was no change. Tried a different 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. The static improved a little but still not useable. It sounded like listening to a radio station that is almost, but not quite on the frequency.

I would not recommend it for use with cochlear implant
I bought this to use with a cochlear implant. It works but the sound is very faint and underpowered. You can hear it if in quiet room. If you are in the car or the train forget it. I would not recommend it for use with cochlear implant. I use N5 processor. I returned the item

I can use my phone again!
I had been struggling with using my iPhone 4 with my hearing aids for the past year. I thought I would give the Amplicom NL 100 a try. Once my audiologist set a Telecoil setting on my hearing aids this worked great. Takes some volume adjusting between Hearing Aids, phone and Neckloop to get just the sound just right. I will be packing away my headphones, earbuds and Bluetooth now that I have the neckloop. Thinking about buying another so I can keep one at work and one at home.

Very poor sound quality
The volume on this device was very good but it is cheaply made and the sound clarity was horrible because the device creates a lot of static.

Great product!
I ordered this product to replace my my older "induction loop" and have been very pleased with both the quality but also with the volume control.....in short its way ahead of anything on the market irresperctive of price.
