If I recall correctly, what lead me to purchase this product was the amount of time the product description specified hot beverages would stay hot because of it's construction (8-10hrs). Those claims are no longer in the product description except that it says "several hours" (meaning 7+ hrs). Nonetheless, it keeps hot beverages adequately hot for 4-5 hours (a few hours), and is large enough for our needs. As most recommendations infer, you can add hot water to the carafe first to prime it, but who has time for that. Anyway, it does what I need it to do for the amount of time needed. would not buy another. Prefer glass lined carafe.14 months later, the plastic release button that you press to pour your hot beverage into your cup has broken. Don't recall the warranty period on this product, but this is my review of the product anyway. time to look for another one.

Great product. I use this every day to pour my hot pot of coffee in so it doesn't burn by the coffee machine heater. It's the perfect volume to store a standard pot of coffee (12ish cups). The only gotcha is watch out when the coffee has been sitting in it before you push the button to pour some out. Be sure to turn it away from you because a big spot of hot liquid shoots out. Just a heads up. Not the manufacturer's fault, but a PSA. Keeps hot liquids hot for a few hours; still warm 6 hours later. This would make a great gift.

Nice large volume carafe that keeps coffee warm, but after each pour a small amount runs down the side then collects underneath it. This leaves large dark rings on the countertop that have to be wiped off every time it is used.

I usually make a french press coffee batch in the morning and work on it throughout the day (get about 3 cups) the carafe I replaced with this used to hold the heat throughout all 3 cups, this one loses the heat by the second fill. Returned it to find a better insulated carafe. Might work well for you if you don't need things kept hot for long, but definitely leaks heat easily.

I was disappointed when I read on the bottom that this is made in China for Isosteel. It does however, keep the coffee hot and fresh tasting which is what I was looking for.

Auch nach 24h ist noch eine Restwärme vorhanden.
