These things will definitely do the job!! Our Bichon Frise-Shih Tzu mix is nothing but hair and she gets mats sooo easily. We were constantly cutting them out with (dog) scissors because brushes just didn’t do it. I made the decision to completely shave her down so that she can start over (& so could we). Our clippers were awful -absolute garbage- compared to these!! They have no problem at all cutting the mats that she always gets without any pain to her! Now, when people see our dog, they ask if they can borrow them for their dogs too!! Best investment ever!!

I don't usually write reviews but, my husband bought these for me because I wanted to start grooming our dogs. It's so expensive to get our dogs groomed. Last year he bought me a cheap pair and they broke the first time I used them. Then he bought these and I didn't have any issues and our dogs are Flat Coat Retrievers and their hair is very thick and usually will clog up the trimmers. I have used these around 8 times and haven't had any issues, it is a good trimmer.

My cocker spaniel has very thick fur and I’ve had a hard time finding any clippers that do the job. Even more expensive ones from the pet store only worked for the first time or two. These clippers are the best I’ve ever used. The clippers gently glided through his fur. It made the grooming chore much easier.

Our 15 pound dog had gone a couple of months without a haircut due to business shutdown, so I bought this set to give him a hair cut. The shaver was not strong enough to remove very much of his hair and hair would get stuck in the razor so you couldn't move it quite often. We ended up leaving the hair much longer than we wanted as it would have required us to shave him multiple times to get the length of cut he normally has. Unless your dog has short hair, get a more powerful shaver.

Works like a charm! We have 4 dogs ,3 of which need regular haircuts. This makes it so much easier and quicker ! I would definitely recommend!

I don't usually give many reviews anymore but this product definitely deserves it for the price I've bought other clippers for my golden retriever that just don't do what they say they're going to do these clippers work fantastic and for the price definitely worth a five-star rating my golden retriever has a very thick heavy coat and it cuts through it very nice ☺️

Used to to shave a long haired cat, that doesn't like to be shaved. Longest time he's sat still to shave, never put up normal fight to get away. Cut through the fur pretty effortlessly even using the guards it showed great ability. Quieter than any of the razors I've used before; wired and none wired. Great product for me. Delivery was a few days later than original but being the time or year and circumstances, still a timely delivery.Thanks for the product hope it's a durable as well. Cheers !

I bought this a year ago but didn't need to use a lot..did excellent job getting a mat out of cat..my 4th time wanting to use, it won't turn on nor charge ..green light on battery, then switched to fast blinking red light..wont turn on even while plugged in.

Works well so far for our dog. Need to charge a couple of times because our dog has lots of thick curly hair.
