Get it, you'll enjoy it.
A complete honest review:Installation: Very smooth and easy, took less than an hour. Access code works just fine.Graphics: What HD?! It's super almost realistic.I'm on Chapter 3, I haven't encountered any bugs or glitches or any crashing.Gameplay: Like GTA, but more realistic, the game takes you back in history to the times of WWII and Dictatorship in Italy in the beginning,I don't want to spoil more. The game will take you quite a while to finish, I believe you play 4 different characters, all different stories, it's very similar to GTA in gameplay, yet different. It should run just fine on your mac.Update 1/6/2015--------------------The game crashed only three times since I started playing it, and it rarely did, I managed to finish the story mode with only 2-3 crashes. One last thought, play the game at highest difficulty to really enjoy the game.

LOVED It
First thing, I'm used to FPS games. This is ALMOST FPS, though you see your character in the bottom left corner like in Batman Akrahm Asylum. So this review is from someone who's used to the POV of a character. You can check all the other reviews for the other version of this game to know about playability because I agree with it. But to sum up - Once the game is over, there's no real roaming. Of course, there are sub-plots from the main menu you can play where you're a different character in the same city. But besides that, I had a BLAST playing through this really cinematic like game. I was even SHOCKED at the violence in one particular scene, and I'm someone who doesn't get shocked by violence in games or movies. But this one scene snuck up on me. It just goes to show how immersed you can get in this. There are a lot of cut scenes in the game, to make it feel like you're controlling a movie.I love how it spans over different years, and the changing locations and seasons. There's quite a bit of driving in the game which got a bit tedious. But what I liked about having it was that it made the game feel even more like this is real life. If you need to see someone you have to spend the time driving there. You can't just click an area of the map and be transported there like some other games. And while you're driving you have to watch out for the cops. If you committed a crime in your car, the cops will be looking out for it and your description. Change your clothes and jack a new car... the cops don't pay attention to you. There is SO much city to travel. I sort of wish I spend more time exploring. I guess I can play the game again, but I'll tell those who haven't played... definitely explore. From what happened in the game for me, I think it's safe to say that the plot line won't change depending on how long you take going from one place to another. The only time the game seemed to alter it's storyline in accordance with what I did, was before one meeting, I went to a clothing store and bought an expensive suite. When I got to the meeting a character comments on how nice I look. Pretty cool! There are a couple of lines the actors say that I heard repeat enough that it got annoying. When you're in the car and you speed or go through red lights, you basically hear the same 2-3 lines. On a personal note, I have a MacPro with a Radeon 9600 card and a 30" cinema display. This game was NOT going to run anywhere close to full specs on my system. I don't know if my graphics card needs to be better, or my monitor was just too big, or both. I had to play this on LOW LOW settings. Even still the graphics were amazing. But I just wish, if the graphics were that good with my low settings, how AMAZING it would have been to play at full res. Droooool.Anyways, the negative aspects about this film are far outnumbered by all the great things. There are really awesome graphics, awesome music, and it's awesome pacing. I loved playing it.
