Rolling is really good for you
I do various Pilates classes (one a day) though out the week--reformer, tower, mat, barre, etc. Sometimes do an extra class when they have it-- stretch or a roller class for the entire 55 minutes. Have learned to use the foam rollers and spiky massage balls to target large and small muscle groups. Was interested in trying the roller sticks because of that. Conceptually, I think the idea is great. However, I'm not sure the application is. I have another massage stick that has "balls" as the rollers. I think this one is more substantial then that and does a better job with the large muscle groups (I actually went back and lowered the number of stars for that one:)My two major problem areas are my wrists (I'm a fine crafter) and shoulders (played racquet sports at a pretty high level.) Couldn't figure out how I might use this for those. The spiky balls work perfectly on those areas. I'm pretty flexible, but I can't do my shoulders myself.Another area that gets tight is my left hamstring. I used this on it. I think this roller stick is great for legs. It's easy to apply to the various muscles there and your IT bands. All areas that can use some of this. However, they're pretty easy to do on a foam roller, especially if you want a combined upper body workout.I did use it on my husband's back. I do think it might be better if someone is using this roller stick on your muscles. Think it's really difficult to use on yourself except for your legs and butt.I did get this product at a discount for an honest review.

This is perfect for runners
This is perfect for runners. Some rolling sticks are made of light plastic which causes panic when bent too far (never had one break, but gosh are they terrifying); this rolling stick has metal in the middle as well as plastic rings which roll with the stick. My only complaint is that it comes too tight initially; it took me a few weeks to figure out that I could manually tighten/loosen the roller. The tightness doesn't allow the rings to roll so it actually ends up pinching your skin. Other than that minor complaint, I love this product!

Excellent Muscle Roller stick for a great price!!!
Even though I try to support my local running store, for a roller like this it's about $40. When you are buying the similar product with the same quality, why would you want to pay $$? I find this super handy especially when I return from a long run. I can shove it in my gym bag and do some spot massage and doesn't take up a bunch of additional space.

Good massage stick
Good standard massage stick. Works great on my tight quads. The beads are plastic and have a nice texture to them which feels lovely. The handle has a nice rubbery textured grip. The 18 inches makes it very easy to store. Would be very easy to clean if you were using it after a work out with out showering first. Although I would encourage using it after as the hot water makes those muscles easier to work.

Sturdy, Nice Product
I just started a training program, and wanted to give myself every advantage possible over soreness and fatigue. This stick works great, it is not flexible like some others on the market, so just be aware of that. It is sturdy, and well constructed. It is long enough that you can do shoulders as well as legs. It works great, and I would recommend.

I purchased the roller stick because it was recommended in a YouTube video as part of a regime for treating tennis elbow. It has been very effective in loosening my forearm tensons/muscles as I prepare to perform therapeutic exercises. I have used it to rub other tight muscles, and it feels darn close to a deep tissue massage!

This was actually a lot better than I expected
This was actually a lot better than I expected. Although a lot of people complained about catching their skin, I did not get that in my multiple uses. Maybe it is because they didn't use it over fabric? Either way, This gets to parts that is harder for my foam roller to catch.

Would buy again!
I like the size of stick and also size of the individual rollers. I use it to work tension out of legs and upper back. Took on trip to use on legs due to sitting. Works great!
