Wall Bumpi Deluxe Bed Rail, Fuchsia, 38"

I received my order today, a Fuchsia 54" wall bumpi. It came in a plastic bag folded in half in a box. I paid $65, plus tax. I really love the idea of this item and was willing to pay the high exorbitant price, as long as it worked.I took it out and noted how light it was. It is a really light soft foam inside. Bends easily. I placed it securely on the bed with the long strap. I placed my child on bed. First thing, they rolled over into the middle of the bumpi and the bumpi pushed out away from the bed. My child got caught between the bumpi and bed.This item needs to be made of a firmer foam for this to work properly, just my personal opinion. For this price, I expected a higher quality foam inside. Much higher quality when being charged $65. Yes, not all foam is created equal.The cover and color were beautiful and the straps strong and nicely made. But again, the foam inside this product is flimsy and feels too soft.Maybe the shorter bumpi works better, but this 54" does not. Returning item asap.

This is a great way to keep your child safe in bed. My son is almost 18 months old and had to be in a toddler bed early. He is such a climber. My son's toddler bed has the rail at the head of the bed but my son moves around so much that he actually fell out of the toddler bed which of course made for a miserable night afterwards. From that day on I was on a quest to find something that would work on his toddler bed. I tried two different types of bed rails but they wouldn't stay attached to his bed and he was constantly trying to climb on them to get into bed or out of it again. It was too dangerous. So I tried this and it works great. It stays firmly in place and it keeps my son from rolling out of his bed and during the day he can get in and out of his bed without having any problems. It says it goes up to a full size mattress so I plan to keep this long term so once my son grows and needs a bigger bed, this will help keep him safe at night if he stays a tosser turner like he is now.

Overall we are happy with it & it was the best choice for us of the few rails we tried. Be sure that it's as tight as possible on the mattress though, as it loosened a little once and our daughter managed to get her leg trapped under it while climbing out of bed. Also easy to take along for travel!

Liked the idea but didn't really work. I first used it for my 2.5yo and didn't stop her from falling off the bed. So I used it for my 4yo old... same story. She fell off the bed rail a few times in the middle of the night. And, it happened again last night. It freaked me out when I heard the loud 'bang'! So I decided to write this review to warn other parents.

Well made, aesthetically unobtrusive. A good alternative if your style of bed doesn't lend to using traditional side rails. Beware - some of the cheaper traditional rails will develop stress fractures at the hinges over time and can fail.

Use it for an end of bed bumper pillow for toddler. Great product but deduct a star because seems absurdly expensive for a piece of triangular foam with a fabric cover.

I didnt understad how did you sell this thing!! I buy it and my son fell down in The first Níght, The child sleep can pass over and fall to The floor we have to run The hospital!

Great product! Would buy again! My 5yo daughter tosses and turns like a tornado while sleeping. The Wall Bumpi keeps her from rolling/throwing herself out of bed. No more screams in the night with her sprawled out on the floor.
