Good chromebook option for younger children
We got 2 of these for our kids (1st and 2nd grade), as with everything COVID these days their school has gone to remote learning. For a few weeks they used old laptops of ours and it was ok but didn't do well with the video class meetings so we looked for chromebook options. We were initially looking at the Duet, and I'd imagine once its out that will be a pretty good option too. We went with this because it *should* be more durable than the Duet, we didn't know when the Duet was going to be out, and the keyboard and additional storage of the Duet wasn't that important for us. If the keyboard and storage space isn't important to you, then its not worth paying a bit more to get it.We went with a tablet form factor for their Chromebook rather than a laptop style because in the short term they are using it for schooling at home, but in the long term it will be more for fun and play. We already had extra keyboards and mice laying around that had been collected over the years so for now we've set up little workstations with a usb-c hub that they plug into to sit and do schoolwork, and then they can use it for fun when allowed outside of their schoolwork. We've had them about a week and they work perfectly for what we wanted. No issues at all using them for school or fun, just what we needed and expected.

mediocre tablet
I don't know what I expected. I thought this was going to be some Zen fusion of Android, Chrome, and Linux. This tablet has a mediocre build quality, is laggy, and the screen flickers. Im gonna use it some but may end up trying to load Android on it

Best Chromebook for the price
I’m a Chromebook Sales Specialist and have been using the computers for the last year. I will sell my three more conventional Chromebook laptops. The Lenovo Duet does everything I need faster and with a brighter screen. Not sure if this is the same device as the other reviews.

Do not buy!!
I purchased this tablet for my child for school. We got a case for it and took care of it. A little over a month and it just stopped working. We tried different chargers and it would not turn on. We reached out to Lenovo to ask for a replacement or at least something comparable and they refused since it was just over the 30 day return window. We were not looking for money back. We were about to purchase 2 other laptops and now we need a third device since they declined to help but sorry Lenovo you lost customers for life. I have 4 elementary school children, i'm back in college and my husband is in IT so we are in constant need of some form of computer but it will not be from you anymore!

Never again
This is my first computer from Lenovo. Also will be my last. About to give this away to Goodwill. Great build and screen resolution. Also good specs on paper but fails on multitasking. Many times a day tablet freezes or crashes. Half the day, have to force it to shutdown. Next time install Android on this subpar hardware instead of Chrome!

Beware
Lenovo 10e has disappointed our school in so many ways. First, it does not have a good design. The screen consistently pops out and the charger doesn't give the proper voltage to charge the tablet when it's turned on. Second, it was not meant to handle streaming because it freezes or just shuts off all together. Lenovo has not been helpful with getting these devices repaired. Our tablets have been sent all over the US just to get them repaired. We probably won't have enough tablets when school starts just because of the run around this company has given us. Last, all tablets need some type of glue to make the screen stay in place. Which means we had to recall ALL of our tablets to be repaired!!!!! The ones that we have received the glue are still not in working condition because the screen is STILL popping out. Lenovo is located a few miles away from our school and refuses to assist us. They would rather we send our tablets 1000s of miles away instead of helping a local school. They only want to benefit financially instead of helping a school in need that is right in the community where their headquarters resides. I advise not to purchase anything Lenovo because the support is non-existent.
