Clematis armandii Apple Blossom | Climbing Plant | Pink Flowers | Height 55-65cm | Pot Ø 15cm

Arrived quickly and packaged well. Tip of most of the leaves were brown so my amateur reasoning thinks it was struggling for water at some point. I’ve repotted so hopefully it will recover and do well.Deducted a star as I’ve been informed by a proper gardener that my plant is suffering from clematis wilt. Who knew! Probably should deduct more but I live in hope.Update 2Two months on and it’s doing really well. Lots of new growth. I still can’t decide whether to remove the bottom leaves, that arrived half dead. Other than that, the plant is really healthy. Moved plant to a shadier position but so far, it doesn’t seem to mind. The ants seem to love hanging out on this plant but so far aren’t doing any harm that I can see. Hopefully I will get lots of beautiful flowers next spring.Update 3One year on and slightly disappointed to be honest. I ordered the apple blossom which is supposed to have pink flowers. This plant has grown beautifully over the last year, and has just started to flower. Great? NO!!!! The flowers are white, yes WHITE, not pink! Apple blossom flowers start of pink and fade as they mature. These are white!!! Maybe I’m just inpatient so I will update again later in the year to see if anything has miraculously changed.

Diseased plant shoved in a large box with no Fragile stickers where it crashed around spilling the dried compost from the pot.£28.00 for a plant with 12 leaves, only two of which are green and whole. The remainder black and destroyed by die back, blotchy yellow and full of insect holes.Took pics on my Android phone but Amazon make it impossible for me to upload them without possessing technical know how I don't possess, downloading other apps, resizing pictures, changing file types.I have to wonder at the motives behind complicating a process which can be achieved on EBay by the click of a button.So, I am left with a diseased awful quality plant suffering from Clematis Wilt and a bill for £28 as punishment for no I.T. skills.

Lovely healthy, dark green evergreen Clematis about 30cm tall arrived about 3 weeks ago. Now safely transplanted in its final place against a nice big trellis. Roots shaded from the sun. It's been there for a couple of weeks and is already starting to bud. Fed it with Clematis fertiliser granules that last 6 months so looking forward to a long lasting display year after year..

I ordered 4 Clematis The President last year August. They weren't in flower, so I could not tell then if I had been sent the correct plants. Then they went dormant for winter. 3 of the 4 came to life in spring, one died. The 3 flowered in June - but were not purple as advertised, rather they were pink - and I think they look more like Nellie Moser than The President!Seller is unresponsive.

2 small but healthy plants arrived nicely packed. Some soil was loose but the roots seemed to have been fine. I have them in the pot in my garden for another 14 days until my trellis goes up after which i'm going to plant them in the ground. Hopefully they'll be ok. Will update in a couple of month.

Lovely plant in great condition, can't wait for the first flowers.
