“Dynamite” piece of equipment, Cuts 1/2 “ rebar easily
The headline above was not my first choice. Suffice it to say that this blade, on the appropriate Milwaukee saw, will cut 1/4” steel plate like 5/8” plywood. This is a loud but effective breaching tool. If you are willing to rapidly use up the blade, it will cut through hardened steel chain and locks. If you find one of these blades on a Milwaukee saw, and the owner isn’t a contractor or a “fine upstanding citizen,”as my old professor used to say, I would suggest you have prima facie evidence of intent to break and enter.

Perfect for 18 gauge studs.
I tried on 16 gauge 10" wide studs. If i set the depth to 1/4" and just cut the flat part of the stud and not the legs it did well. Use a cutoff on the legs. If you cut a 10" wide and try to do the entire stud, the metal would bind and chip the teeth off. Thats not the blades fault, believe me.I used it 18 Gauge 6" studs and it did just fine. I have purchased 3 of these in the past 6 months, almost daily cuts. The first blade didn't last long do to me not letting my common sense rule my thoughts like normal. Got in a hurry and didn't think it through and that's when the stud warped and the teeth didn't last long.

Super clean cut
We use the saw primarily for cross cutting 1/8" strip. However, we also cut some 3/16" 48 wide plate in half. The blade cut approx 40' of 3/16" before needing to be replaced. Very acceptable. Super clean cut.We were able to cut 68' of 1/8" sheet before replacing the blade. (Cutting 17pc of 4' wide sheets in half.)

Works on circular saw but loses teeth then causes bearing to fail on saw
For cutting sheet metal with circular saw unfortunately teeth flake off causing bearing failure on a long cut
