Well, I've been using this tea infuser/tumbler for a couple of days now, so here are my initial thoughts. First, the one thing I don't like about it; you are not suppose to leave black and green teas to steep for longer than about 5 minutes, or they will become too acidic. Since this infuser isn't a removable basket and you're meant to leave them in, this becomes a problem. To circumvent this issue, I have taken to steeping my black teas in a different infuser (a mug type with removable basket) and pouring it into this tumbler. That is the only issue I've had. This tumbler is otherwise great. It holds about 2 cups of tea, which is just enough to get me going in the morning. It is leak proof and double walled. The inside wall is glass, so you can use HOT water without worry. The outer wall is durable plastic. I have not attempted to drop it or throw it to insure that it holds up, but I'm guessing that the outer plastic is better than having glass. The opening from which you drink is just large enough to get a good flow, without being so large that hot tea comes rushing towards your face. It fits well in my cup holder in my car. It is even better with herbal teas, since you can leave them to steep forever without any problems. I love peppermint tea and drink a lot of chamomile to help with stomach problems, so this is perfect for me. I have not tried the water infusion aspect, but I'm sure it works well. All in all, this is exactly what I was looking for in a tea infuser/tumbler. Oh, and each piece is removable, even the inner glass wall, so it is very easy to clean.

I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect bottle for making blossoming teas and cold-brewed iced tea, and for me, this bottle was the one. Blossoming teas are really beautiful in this bottle; it's been perfect for brewing and enjoying them.Things I like about this bottle: I really like the construction of this bottle. The inside (where the liquid is) is glass, the tea strainer is metal, and the top, outside, and gray ring are all plastic. I wanted a bottle where I would be able to see my teas, but I didn't want to have hot tea in plastic. I looked at all glass bottles, but I was always worried that they would break or chip if I threw them around in my bags. This bottle seemed like the perfect solution. The tea sits in the glass section, but the outside is all plastic. It felt a lot safer; since the glass is encased in plastic, even if it broke, it would be contained. I was a little worried about drinking from the plastic spout (I had a mug from Davids Teas that had a plastic drinking spout, and I hated it), but I actually like it a lot. It's a great size and shape to drink from, and the plastic doesn't add any negative taste or flavor. The bottle is also dishwasher safe (huge plus!), and I've always been able to get it completely clean in the dishwasher, even when it's had some pretty bad tea stains.Things I don't like: The gray ring is really hard for me to get back on after I've taken it off. When putting the bottle back together after washing it, I always have trouble getting the gray ring to line up correctly. I'll generally have to try it a few times before I can get it on right. The bottle isn't insulated, so it's not great at keeping things cold or hot. I generally drink tea pretty quickly, so I find this more annoying with cold things. I don't love drinking water out of this bottle. The water doesn't stay cold for long, and I just don't think the bottle looks very good when it only has water in it. Frequently, there will be condensation stuck between glass and plastic layers (I believe a few other reviews have mentioned this), and I think it looks especially bad with water in the bottle.Overall, I've been very happy with this bottle. I would definitely buy it again, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for something for blossoming teas on the go.Edit: I'm removing a star since after using this bottle off and on for over a year and running it through the dishwasher, the outside plastic part that goes over the glass part has started to crack. This is possibly my dishwasher's fault (my dishwasher is the worst), but I was pretty disappointed to see it happen especially since it's supposed to be dishwasher safe. The bottle still works fine so far, but I've found that it's stopped me from using it as much since I'm afraid that it will continue to crack and eventually break apart. I've been contemplating getting another one, as it is a really great bottle.

I owned my first of these for 2 years. It cleaned easily and did a great job at making flavorful hot tea. I work in a call center where the only liquid I can have at my desk has to be in a spill-proof container, and this tumbler performed great. I'm also terribly clumsy and dropped it many times, including on the concrete more than once, and it always survived. I must have finally dropped it just right on the bathroom tile at my work and all the glass inside shattered.dthankgully the plastic casing contained the mess and I was able to just pitch it in the garbage. Anyway, I've spent the day looking at other tumblers but this is still the one I like best, so I'm just going to order a second one.

I had this for 3 days and absolutely loved it. The filter was great I didn't get any tea through, it insulated well, and I like the way it looks with the tea leaves floating in it. On the 3rd day there was a leak in the gasket in the filter so tea would get between the layers. The next day it was full and fell from about 2-2.5 ft and the glass part on the inside completely shattered. The concept is great but I don't think it is the best made product**UPDATE - I contacted the seller because on their page they list a lifetime guarantee, and w/i a day or so they emailed by a 95% off coupon to replace the product. Great customer service for a great product. The box says the plastic outer layer protects the inner glass layer, but I'm still gonna baby it a little more anyway

I actually really love this bottle and hate giving it anything but all 5 stars. I think it's easy to clean (no hidden parts or scrubbing), good on the go, I've never had an issue with leaking or loosing parts as I've seen in some other reviews. My only complaint is the gray ring has broken on mine. I glued it and that held for some time but today it broke again, making it useless. I was able to use a bunch of rubber bands today to get me through to the end of the day but going forward, this is not an acceptable way to keep using this. When you wash this after first getting it, steam will get between the glass and plastic part so it's necessary to remove the ring, once you do, you can't go back. I bought two of these because I use them on a daily basis and now I'm looking for a replacement. I'm worried about buying this again because of the breakage but really do love it. I also tried contacting the manufacturer to see about getting replaced under warranty but cannot locate this information.

Just what I have been looking for. The only thing that would make this better than it already is, if the lid had a one finger release that flips open, just would,make it that much more user friendly, but this is the Best diffuser type water bottle I have. Wish the price was better I'd buy more of these.
