Gynoii WiFi Video Baby Monitor with HD Infrared Night Vision, Two Way Audio and Time-Lapse for iPhone, iPad, Android Phones and Tablets

I really want to like this camera but it's pretty useless. We have the bigger model and it works great so we bought this one to keep with the pack and play while our little guy is sleeping bedside for the first few months. We thought it would work as a travel camera once he's in his crib. The problem is that it works intermittently and is unreliable. You'll see the video for about a minute, then the camera goes offline, then proceeds to load before video is restored. You'll have a steady stream for a random period of time then the whole process starts over again. Very frustrating because this could have been a great addition to our existing camera.I contacted the company in an attempt to get the issues resolved and they were no help at all. The extent of their troubleshooting was asking if the camera was too far from the router or if the wifi was working properly.Very disappointed with the product and customer service. Save your money!!

I've had this camera for a few months now. I really really really want to like it. The price was good, the feature set its great. The only problem is that it is INCREDIBLY BUGGY. The app often won't load, or crashes. The camera often disconnects and reboots on its own. I can not rely on this camera, and its not even my full time monitor. I've run the app on numerous Android devices, Nexus 5X, Nexus 7, HTC 10, and Moto G4 Play but all of them have issues with bugs. If Gynoii can get a firmware or app update to make this usable, I would be thrilled. But until they do, just use the money towards a quality product like the NEST cams.

I absolutely love this, I wish I had bought it months ago! Easy to set up, picture is super clear in day and night vision, hardly any lag as long as we don't have too much running on our wifi at one time but that has nothing to do with the camera. The app is very easy to use on my iPhone, I love that it will take video and snapshots, both of which are great quality. I love being able to see watch the baby sleep and my husband loves that he can peek in on her too all the way from work while she's down for a nap. Fantastic value, I had avoided buying a video monitor because I thought they were all hundreds of dollars but this one is very affordable and its perfect. My only complaint is with the pincher grip it comes with, the posable wire is weak, it won't actually hold the bends you might need to position the camera and you'll end up having to move the whole kit to get the right angle for your room. Minor inconvenience.

These have saved us many hours of worry & when my wife is out of town on work, she can spy on the kids as they nap & feel connected. They're great when they're working, but there are a couple of annoying quirks.Annoying: you, for some reason, can't set them up with a nexus product. I didn't know that & it was pissing me off that I kept doing everything right & getting no results. Finally I checked the review forums & found out about this issue, grabbed a different device & no issues. How about an error screen letting me know about the incompatibility? Grrr.Second grrr... you have to be patient as it doesn't always load both camera images, (not exclusive to the Nexus) so sometimes you have to kill the app & restart. As long as it doesn't happen twice in a row, its ok, but still annoying.I'm grateful for when they work, when they do, they work really well. The night cam feature is great and so is the picture taking ability. Its nice to be able to remotely verbally communicate as well. Lots of cool features so when it works, its great.

I really love that I got this monitor half the price as competitive monitors. I like that I can use my tablet or phone to watch my son while he is sleeping. My only concern is that even after buying a brand new router to be sure we got great signal strength, this monitor still doesn't get great signal even though it's one room away from the wifi router. And what happens when you have no WiFi? Well then you have no monitor. But you get what you pay for, as long as you're willing to mess with the WiFi and constantly reload when it freezes (in my case) then I say go for it! It's great. The set up was easy even though I struggled because we had our old WiFi router set-up (and it didn't accept it). Once I got that replaced, it worked. Another thing I can't figure out is how to turn off the LED lights in the back of the camera. It says you can do that, and then you never see the option after the first invite to turn it off. I also notice with the night vision lights, my son (10 weeks) likes to stare at the lights, so he knows its there and it's quite distracting for him, but he usually falls asleep anyways. Just wanted to give great detail for those who are considering it!In short, I do like this monitor a lot. I'm glad we have it. It's not an easy breezy device--it does come with it's difficulties, but I'm willing to work through it for the price I snagged the monitor at. I can't justify spending over $100 for a monitor, so this was perfect for us!

I bought this unit to replace a typical video baby cam that broke. I'd say it's a good concept but a poor execution.Pros:- I can run the app on all my phones/tablets simultaneously and even from work (though I assume this is a standard feature for all wifi cameras)- Audio alerts come up as notifications, if the users decided to use that feature (again I assume this is a pretty standard feature)Cons:- Very poor connectivity. It has to be set on the lowest performance and even then it constantly keeps cutting the video feed off and has to be reloaded. The screen will also freeze/turn green for a good 30 seconds to a minute then go back to normal.- This unit and it's power adapter generate a surprising amount of heat. I wouldn't be surprised if that's why the video feed issues are getting worse and I do expect it to completely die on me pretty soon.- While it does come with an additional (very flexible) attachment that allows the camera to be clipped to a crib, the main stand has a rather poor angle range - great if you want to point it up but if you're like me and have this unit sitting on a high piece of furniture pointing down towards the crib, you will need to prop it up with something else, which is not ideal.Verdict - while I haven't deemed this camera bad enough to warrant a return, I do regret spending more than $50 on it.

La hemos utilizado por bastante tiempo ya y nos ha funcionado excelente. La podemos llevar a otros sitios donde haya una conexión wifi se puede utilizar y ver a tu bebé en tu celular. La visión nocturna podría mejorar pero es suficientemente buena para lo que se requiere.

Administration laborieuse. Compatible avec un NAS synology mais peu performant en wifi. Dommage.A ce jour je n'ai pas pu la mettre à jour. Câblé ou en wifi la mise à jour ne fonctionne pas malgré le respect des procédures de ZAVIO Et l'essai sur tous les navigateurs existants. C'est une déception :-(
