No wonder the pictures only shows the back, it's the product's only redeeming factor. The poor english in the packaging boast of being "State of art laser cutting..." (sic) which is not really needed for a plain sheet of aluminum with a little hole for the LED light. Could have saved more by using a press instead. Anyway, I can charge it with the magnetic charging stand with the case on, so that's a plus. It's thin, does not cover the top and bottom, really nice texture on the metal, and for the price, was half expecting a free screen protector, alas...I like it, but not love it. Could have been a great phone case for the Z1 because it's quite elegant to look at, but it bums me about the lack of protection for the top and bottom part of the phone. And I'm positive it will not protect against drops, only scratches at the back and sides.Could have been great...

I thought it will fit my Sony Xperia Z the first Sony phone, but it didn't. It was off at least 1-2 inches away from phone.
