Mallory on Board

I think this is a good book. It teaches kids a good lesson. Even if things are not going your way, be happy for other people’s happiness.

My daughter has enjoyed the Mallory books immensely. She even wrote to Laurie Friedman and got a letter, bookmark, and a bookplate in response. I like that the stories are increasingly more involved as the books move along, keeping up with the reader's developing skills and ability to comprehend. Also, the books are "chunky" and don't look like other entry-level chapter books, which creates a sense of pride for those readers who may be wanting to read more challenging books but aren't quite ready. Way to go Ms. Friedman!

It is nice to have friends that you help out and that help you out. It takes everyone working together for the greater good. I considered this as I have always liked giving and care about others. Love being on board.

I like this book because it takes place on a cruise and I want to know why people go on cruise
