Looking forward for a more comfortable winter commute without risking a super expensive one
As an avid bike commuter, hubby puts about 20-25 miles per day on his bike and he does this year-round, even in the cold/snow of Wisconsin. He has an "old beater bike" as he calls it for the winter to minimize wear and tear on his more expensive bike, but often complains about the seat on it. I received this replacement bike saddle in exchange for my honest opinion. I should say, this is a road bike style seat - so if you are a casual biker or a first time "trying to get into shape" rider - this is not going to feel comfortable or natural to you. Hence why I had hubby test this out - my bike has a big, squishy seat that is for comfort, not speed. This bike saddle is meant for those doing the road bike/commuter thing and are going for speed/agility. For those purposes, it's quite decent. Hubby took it on several long rides and said it was significantly better than the standard saddle that came with his cheap bike, but obviously, not as nice as his English leather one that we invested a pretty penny. That being said, at this price point and the ease at which this installed, it is a good seat and will be perfect for the winter months for him. It seems well-made and quite sturdy.

It has an ergonomic shape that is stylish and functional. The foam feels thicker but firm than most bicycle seats I have sat on. It is also wrapped in synthetic leather that has 2 tones: Black with silver strips.Overall, I am really please with this bicycle saddle. Exactly what is described and good purchase price
Received quickly. Exactly what is described and good purchase price. Purchase for my son and he loved it! Very comfortable and easy to install. Before this seat his ride was painful, with this seat he is pain free!

Great product...if you are a big person like I am...and are trying to get in shape with a little cardio...this is the seat for you. It's perfectly sized and it's comfortable. Worth every penny.
