Cheaply made and very wide and long rope pieces
Amazon does not allow you to select a size for this product, but given all of the reviews for the product commented that it was sized well for a horse size, I assumed the product was only available in HORSE size from Amazon. Nope! Definitely got an oversize!Regardless of size, the buckles on the gag cheek are very wide so any normal-sized cheek piece on a horse bridle fits with room to spare onto the buckle. BUT, this makes the buckle very unstable attached to the cheek piece, and the attachment has far too much slide around the horse's cheek for comfort.The rope components are made with wide, stiff rope. The rope is so wide that it sits rather awkwardly on the gag bit itself.Wish I could say this was a bang for your buck, but it's much more of a bust...

a bit short
a little bit short for my big warmblood's head but still serves it's purpose

rope wore out
The rope wore out after a month of using it. I now need to purchase another pair. The leather held up, but with the rope wearing out on one side, that doesn't matter.

I like the dark color
Exactly what I needed, I like the dark color, and I like that there is plenty of stitching holding the flat leather piece to the rope. Seems to be pretty well made, especially for the price.

Cheaply made, leather keeper broke on first use.
Poor quality, leather keeper came apart at the stitching on first use; lesson learned. You get what you pay for.
