    Worked where solder sucker didn't

This braid works. Could not get solder to flow will enough to use a solder sucker tool plus it would jump from the spring release without picking up any solder. Was risking over heating the board. This desoldering braid allows much better control of the heat and picks up the solder without jumping off the solder point. Was much easier for this use.

I've been soldering for the better part of five decades, and have used various and sundry methods to desolder parts.Often, a solder sucker is the best way to accomplish this, but, when using a wick, this is the best I have found, by far.It is thirsty. There is enough rosin (flux) to work without adding more. Any residue is easily cleaned. And, 5 feet of this stuff goes a long way! It seems expensive, but this is a case of getting what you pay for.
