Fine for small cocktail napkins only
I ordered the item as a Napkin Holder, but it's clearly a Sponge holder since it has catch tray for water and slots are engineered for sponges. Standard napkins do not fit well and fold over (and why I gave it only 3-stars). Fine for small cocktail napkins only. It's very pretty and because I use a wand sponge, I elected to keep and use for that instead. But do not order if only intended for Napkins -- essentially not designed for them. Just being sold as "dual" use for extra profits.
