I'm using this as an iLink cable for my guitar amp. So far it is working great.

Did the trick
I bought a Rode 20-foot TRRS to TRRS cable to go along with my new VideoMic NTG and connect it to my iPhone 11. Alas, it made the mic unusable because it was too long. This 10-foot variety did the trick. There's a LITTLE bit of static you can hear at very low levels, but overall it does the trick.
