This olive wood box is very solid, and durable. The surface has a fine finish that's silky smooth to the touch. The veins are a very deep black, brown and cream colored. No two items are identical. Product may contain minor cracks natural to the olive wood knots. These olive wood products are carved from branches that are pruned from the trees during the standard pruning process. A truly beautiful and meaningful gift from this part of the world.

Disappointed
The Box was received in damaged and/or defective condition. The latch in front was missing a nail so it was hanging off the Box. The wood that the hinges in the back were attached to were completely off the Box.
