Listen to the other reviewers and size down when ordering these. I ordered these on vacation and had them shipped to the house we rented. They were too large so I ended up returning them and never got to use them. However, for the price, I don't think they can be beat. they were under $13. They were soft and seemed like they would be quite comfortable to wear. Some reviewers complained about the insert but it seems like they would still be comfortable to wear to the pool or beach without the insert. They would not be comfortable to wear over gravel, but they are not marketed for that.Please check "Yes" if you have found this review helpful. These shoes are fine if and only if you immediately (you can try them on but don't wear them) remove the insoles and replace them with Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Sport Replacement Insoles. Yes, the new insoles cost more than the shoes but the combination is top notch. Use the supplied insoles to trim the replacement insoles to fit.You can replace the insoles after you wear them, but I don't recommend it. The supplied insoles will buckle and bunch uncomfortably and you may need to use Goo Gone to remove the glue from your feet or wherever else you unintentionally spread it.

THE SHOES ARE SOFT & COMFORTABLE. THE INSOLE DOES COME LOOSE INSIDE THE SHOE. BUT, YOU CAN TAKE IT OUT & PUT ANOTHER KIND OF INSOLE INSIDE THE SHOE. LIKE GEL OR FOAM. WHICH MAKES THE SHOE EVEN MORE COMFORTABLE. I WEAR THESE SHOES WORKING IN THE YARD & GOING SHOPPING. AND, AT THE MARINA. THEY HELP TO KEEP MY FEET COOL. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE TO WALK ON GRASS, DIRT, BLACKTOP & CONCRETE. BUT, NOT ACROSS ROCKS. FOR THAT, WATER SHOES WITH A FOAM BOTTOM IS BETTER. LIKE, SPEEDO BRAND, HYDRO COMFORT SHOES. I HAVE THESE SHOES IN SEVERAL COLORS & HAVE WORN THEM FOR AROUND 2 YEARS. THEY HELD UP VERY WELL.

Haven't tested these shoes out yet for durability (add-on post to follow) but they fit great as long as you order the size correctly. I read a previous post saying to order two sizes too small and decided to try. I'm normally size 9, ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly. Can't say how this affects width issues as my feet are normal and I wear standard width shoes.* * * Update: Took them to Disneyworld, they did alright the first day, but by lunch on the second day, the inner liners were sliding around and making the shoes very uncomfortable to walk in on the hot concrete. I recommend these if you need a quick pair of water shoes for one day of use and then plan on chucking them because they do not last. You definitely get what you pay for. I'm glad I bought two sizes too small as I believe that is what helped them to hold up through the first day. Like other reviewers, I'd say, put the money towards more expensive but better made shoes elsewhere.

I bought these shoes for 1) Walking on a coral beach, 2) carrying with me while backpacking for fording streams, and 3) using as camp shoes when backpacking.They are comfortable, fit well, and do everything I wanted just fine. But (and this is a big one), they continue to have a strong chemical odor, despite being "aired out", washed with soap, used multiple times, and left in the sun. The odor is so strong that if I put them in the cabinet with my other gear, the smell pervades the cabinet and "hits you in the face" when you open it. The other gear takes on the smell until it is aired out. When they were new, I washed them a couple times and hung them from a hook in my garage, and they smelled up the garage. It has improved over time, but even after several uses and a few months, it is still very noticeable.

I bought these for my first white water rafting trip (Class III). They were perfect for the event! Granted they're not the thickest shoes out there (I could feel some of the rocks underneath my feet while walking on some areas), but for less than $8 shipped, what can you really expect. For the price, these are a GREAT deal and work well for rafting.I even used these the next day to wash my car and it was perfect. I would also wear these to the pool and any other activity where I would probably get wet. The adjustable strap worked well and helped to keep these shoes snug. I would definitely buy again!Oh, and as far as the other reviewers mentioned about the sole coming loose, I haven't had that issue but, then again, I've only worn these for two days. Maybe about 8-10 hours total time. If they DO come loose, I'll report back.

I bought these for a vacation trip. Used them for about an hour to walk on a rocky beach that was not suitable for bare feet. I thought they felt a bit weird, and when I got out of the water I noticed that the glue between the pad and the inside of the shoe was soft, and the pad was moving all over the inside of the shoe, bunching up. I went to the local beach shop and bought a different pair. No problems.After these shoes dried, the bottom pad seemed secure again. Doesn't make sense to have a water shoe that gets affected by water, does it?I would say the shoes look nice, but the pad is going to come apart on you. They need to find a better way of securing the pad in the bottom.

So bought these water shoes for my trip last week ... I wore it for 1 day didn't even go into the water the inside sole started to peel off and scrunch up. The glue inside didn't hold together it was honestly a waste of my money I threw them out the first day after wearing them .
