Best On The Market
I have had many garment hangers over the years and this is, easily, the best. Its functional design and quality materials make this a great purchase for anyone looking for a clothing rack.I have my rack fully loaded (maybe even over loaded) and it holds them with no sagging like the other racks I have tried. Despite the heavy load, it maneuvers well, which means the casters are of good quality and are large enough to do the job well. The side rods that extend at the top are smaller circumference than the main rod. These side extension rods are fine for additional clothing as long as you do not over load them, and they are GREAT for hanging belts, scarves, etc. I have a hanging purse organizer Natural Canvas Hanging Purse Organizer (Natural Canvas) (30"H x 6"W x 14"D) that works well on one of the extension bars. The rack is quite good looking because of the high polish on the chrome and its unique contours. I never would have thought a clothing rack could be attractive, but this one actually is.The ability of folding the clothing rack down is a big plus. It folds down small enough to fit under a bed. One of the reasons I bought this rack is because I wanted one I could put in my car when I go to festivals to sell clothing...it fits in the trunk of my sedan perfectly.Assembling the rack is quick and easy. The instructions are on the packaging label on the outside of the box it comes in, so be sure to get you packaging label off the box before you recycle it.I would not think of getting any other clothing rack now that I have found this one. I am planning on giving one to a relative at Christmas and possibly buying myself an additional one.

I want more more more!
I'm putting this on my wish list. I want more of these. A LOT more, and if I got them as a gift they would be the PERFECT gift. I could use FIVE more...hint hint hintI LOVE LOVE LOVE this rack. I keep thinking of uses for them if I only had MORE. I could use a few next to the dryer, a few in the attic, and even one next to our door for guests to hang (or US to hang) our coats on. The possibilities are endless.I had it out of the box and was using it in five minutes.Whoever couldn't find the instructions, they are in the packing slip on the OUTSIDE of the box. They are VERY easy to follow, and I attached the top rack with no difficulty at all (I just attached one end to a support pole and pulled on the other end to hold it still and extend the poles from each other to attach the top rod. SIMPLE and easy!)I also ordered the regular rack that doesn't fold down. I love it too, but this is nice because you can tuck it away when not in use.I want more MANY MORE!!!!I'd give it ten stars, two thumbs up and an A+ if those options were available.Yeah, when my box arrived it wasn't in the BEST shape, but this thing is SOLIDLY built. It could arrive with NO BOX and still be in tip top shape. If the delivery system can't destroy it, NOTHING will. BUY THIS RACK, you will not be disappointed. :) :) :)UPDATE!!!!********FEB 2,2013 ************************* OVER FIVE YEARS LATER!!!!GREAT NEWSthis garment rack has survived a move of 1000 miles, 1 year of storage in a NON climate controlled storage unit is SUNNY/HOT/HUMID FLORIDA.This rack is STILL GOING STRONG, I have cloths hung on it SO TIGHT I'll bet it is holding 100 pounds of clothing. IT IS A WORK HORSE. It has been banged around in the back of a pickup, and has helped hold clothes out doors for yard sales events. STILL WORKS AND LOOKS GREAT, I could not be more pleased!!!!

not your average rack
This is SO much nicer than the $30 racks I'd used in the past. Very sturdy -- the frame keeps its shape with my full 140-pound weight hanging from the bar. The big wheels let me push or pull the rack, even over medium-pile carpet, without feeling like it's going to tip over. The height adjustment is straightforward and easy to do on your own (with the rack empty), though you'll want to go one notch at a time. The telescoping bar extensions work smoothly, with just the right amount of friction. The rack comes half-assembled -- the "missing" parts shown on the instruction sheet have already been installed. Un-folding the rack and attaching the top bar is easy enough, but a little scary the first couple times. It doesn't take much strength, but you do have to muscle the posts farther apart than they want to go. It feels like, if you lose your grip at the wrong moment, the whole thing will snap shut like a mouse trap.My only real complaint is that the bar is only held on by friction, gravity, and the weight of your clothes. Do NOT try to lift/carry the rack by the top bar!

Extremely Heavy Duty Clothing Rack...I Love It!
My husband works as a model and always has wardrobe that need to be styled, ironed and prepared for shoots, so I was looking for a high quality, commercial, collapsible clothing rack and this one is even better than we expected! You can't tell by looking at the picture, but this rack is very heavy duty and high quality. The price point on this one is much lower than at the retail stores I checked out. It's very easy to set up. You just lift both of the side bars into place and the top bar slides directly onto those. Then you just need to make sure it is locked into place. We use this rack on a daily basis and hang very heavy suits/blazers and coats on it and it's extremely sturdy. We've taken it with us to shoots and leave it set up when we're at home. In fact, our stylist friends, and family members were so impressed with it, I had to send them the Amazon link so they could order it for themselves.UPDATE: I went to The Container Store and bought a Platinum Elfa Shelf 20" x 4' and had them cut it down to 40" long for free, and bought 2 20" x 2' plastic liners and I used 4 zip ties to attach the ventilated shelf to the bottom of this garment rack, so now we can stack shoe boxes and whatever else we need to use it for, and we can still roll it around. I even made it to where the shelf will slide out about 4" so if the rack is full, I can pull the shelf out and get what we need without having to move the clothes out of the way. PERFECT ADDITION!!!!! I added a picture of the shelf I attached.
