Dapper Snapper Baby & Toddler Adjustable Belt (Black)

Amazing product. So simple, yet so useful. Our son was a premie, and at 2 still hasn’t quite caught up on the weight charts, but heightwise, he’s not that far off. This means that we have to buy clothes sized for his age to get pants that go to his ankles, but they are super loose around the waist. These fix that beautifully for pants that have belt loops. Seriously, thank you to the person that had this simple, brilliant idea! Lifesaver for parents of kids that never got the baby fat. Pros: They make pants fit. They are durable. They are pretty simple to use Cons: Not sure if this counts, but like pants sizes, they can be awkward for “in-between” sizes. Not so easy to use if the child doesn’t want to cooperate. Basically, no real cons. One thing to keep in mind, they are useless if there aren’t belt loops, 3 of them, in the back. 2 could work, but the strap will slide up. Also, and I wish I had found out about this sooner, but no one told me, many kids pants have an elastic band inside, with a button that allows them to be tightended/loosened somewhat. Not all of them, but after someone mentioned this, I found that most of them we had did. Dapper Straps are still a great idea, and if fit is an issue for your kid, get them, but know that lots of kids pants have a mechanism built in that does the same thing.

Family and friends give us clothes as presents and we buy clothes without trying them on. Nothing fits the way we'd expect. It has been VERY frustrating. We saw this thing and bough it on a whim. I was really skeptical! But, it works great! If you are looking at this you know dressing a little boy is like trying to stuff a wet cat in a sack. This thing is simple and fast and it sits where he can't get to it. Perfect! An it looks cool! I know that sounds stupid but it gives us a laugh. (-

I bought this for my two-year old daughter, who is tall but lean, because pants are always too big around the waist for her. It's great for jeans and easy to put on and take off, which is helpful for potty training. It's durable and the black is inconspicuous on any color pants. I think she'll be able to use this belt for awhile.

A must have for every parent. Resolves any pant size issues. For my daughter the pants are always to wide and when she was younger no regular belt would fit her and then when they start potty training and get older, you don't want them to have to mess with a belt while trying to go the bathroom, this fixes all problems. No belt to unbuckle, the pants fit, everybody is happy. Quality is great, had the same one for a couple years now.

It's a good idea. It worked for its purpose. Too expensive and it got missing after one use.

If you have a skinny/thin/smaller kid this is the best $10 you can spend. I bought one of these along with a belt because my son is pretty thin. And the belt sits in his dresser drawer while this thing got so much use I had to buy a second one because I kept "losing" the first one by forgetting to take it off a pair of pants before tossing them in the wash. A belt can be hard for little ones to use and in an emergency you probably don't want them fumbling around with even a magnetic buckle. Plus belts can dig into a kids tummy during hard play. You don't have any of that with this. The fact that it has 3 different sizes is a real plus because it will grow with your kids. The quality is solid and it's very well made and will definitely last as long as you're kid needs it. This is a must have for every parent and I have no idea why it's not available at retail outlets like Gymboree or Carter's.

This item literally broke as I was removing it from its packaging. Essentially the cap of the snap separated from the grip, rendering the whole product useless. I can't imagine how this would hold up against a toddler's constant movement if it met its demise at the hands of some thin cellophane and flimsy cardstock. When I went to return the item, the third-party seller conveniently does not offer any avenues for recouping my futilely spent funds. How unfortunate, as this product was initially so appealing to me as the mother of a difficult-to-dress toddler.

The initial snapper we bought had a defective button that broke off during the first wear, so I contacted the manufacturer about it. Not only did they give me a complete refund but also later sent me a replacement item for our trouble. It is truly a wonderful product and the replacement has worked wonderfully without any issues. Our daughter is potty-training and this belt helps keep her pants up because she is so small for her age, while giving her the ability to pull her pants up and down without assistance when going potty. Great product - thank you!
