Maxwell loves this collar! Our cat had one before, but he wore it out in about two or so years, actually grinding down the decorative rivets with his prowls. Max lives on our active farm, and he is in charge of it! This is the only collar he never loses, even with the safety design. It has strong good looks and is the ONLY cat collar that can withstand the active lifestyle Max lives. He has his own cat door, and he is on patrol in rivers and strams on our property until sundown. Every neightbor knows Max by this collar and bell. I've had neighbors a mile away on the next farm ID Max. I had no idea he roamed so much territory. But with this collar, to which we add a stong ID and two bells, Max is a community member, known and appreciated. The style really announces he is loved and cared for since it has a distinctive look. Kitty Planet makes the best cat collars I have ever found. The 'rubber band' is tough and won't snap the first time it is stressed like the $3 collars at the discount stores. Thick leather, strong stitching and rivets. Well worth the price if you want a well-made collar for your cat.
