This is the one, hands down (or off!)
I’ve tried several several stands for my iPad specifically, and not one worked well. And all of them indicated holding an iPad was not a problem. They were not stable, with key points made of plastic that breaks easily. Not so with this stand. There really isn’t much to assemble, and the adjustable arm that holds my iphone or iPad In place is sturdy but movable. I use it for my iPad, mostly reading and web surfing, and to hold my HD camera for videoconferencing. I give it a two thumbs up, highly recommended from a very satisfied customer!

Stable and adjustable
I have an ipad. Take off the cover and attach it to the clamp. (note: There it stays because I never take my ipad out of the house.)The base is a flat metal base (about 5lb). So besides being stable, you can place the base under your chair, table or bed closer to you. Also, you won't trip over a flat base. The clamp is attached to a metal ball which is attached to another metal ball on the bendable metal bar (optional: which can be attached to another straight metal bar for added height))This means after adjusting the bar where you want it, you won't have to readjust it again. A nut tightens the clamp to the first ball. Your device will not fall out of position due to gravity. You can rotate your device 360 degrees like all the other stands. But you can turn it left or right (maybe about 80 deg.) and forward or backward (about 70 deg.)But you could adjust the bar so that the device is facing the ceiling or the floor. The stand with still be stable. (Why woud you do that?)With the stand suspending my ipad in front of me, I have my hands free, and more room on the table. I can move the stand easily to another room. This metal stand wasworth the price.

Mostly good.
The base and post do not stay firmly in place. Anytime it is moved they twist and the whole thing can get unbalanced. As long as you check to make sure they are in good alignment, it is a nice stand.

not a lot of complaints but...
Overall, I like this tablet stand. It is easy to use, holds my tablet ok and was easy to assemble. the only two things for me would be to make the base heavier so it is a little more stable, and to add a bit of plastic so the mount that holds the tablet secures the tablet a little more securely.Being that the stand is adjustable (which I love), it can get top heavy at certain angles and could benefit from a little more weight at the base. For the extra plastic, I mean that once or twice, the tablet has popped out because there is nothing holding the tablet firmly besides the pressure from top and bottom. If there was a little bit of plastic that held the tablet from coming out, it would hold the tablet more securely. That being said, I'm ordering a few more as gifts for everyone.

It does what it is designed for.
I got this on the date it was initially promised, although there was a notice of delay due to current situations. Opened the box, put it together, put it where I wanted it to be and made sure it could hold my phone, my wife's phone and my tablet. Just not at the same time. Only thing that I would question is the intructions. It was just a single piece of paper with not very detailed photos showing how it was supposed to be put together and it still took 2 tries because 2 pieces are almost identical, but need to be assembled in a certain way or it won't all go together correctly. Overall, not a bad item, just need to pay attention to detail.

Great but base is too lightweight
This works great for my iPad and it allows me to read while keeping my head up or straight and not down. The most disappointing feature is that the base is not heavy enough to prevent the stand from falling over. In order to correct this defect, I just put a heavy object on top of the base.

The gooseneck part of this stand is super hard to bend!
Honest review here, the gooseneck is hard to bend so it is not very flexible. Overall the stability is quite good. But not as flexible as I thought it would for the project I’m working for, also the phone only fits vertically. I now have to get one piece that lets me us it horizontally… little disappointing.
