Perfect for my son's room
First, sorry for the cruddy picture, I took it on my phone in bad lighting. Also, ignore the messy TV stand, we've since replaced that. Oh, and the cheap computer chair, lol. We replaced that, too. You know what, just ignore everything except the shape of the bed itself. :DOkay, that said, we love this loft bed! I spent a lot of time researching and looking for one that didn't cost a fortune, had the layout we needed to do what we wanted with the room, and wasn't impossible to assemble. Oh, and that shipped free and arrived right to my door (versus ending up sitting at the post office for a week like 90% of my Prime packages). This one fit all of our needs. It was a little daunting to put together at first, and I think you definitely need two people to do it, but it didn't take as long as we thought it would. About two hours with breaks (and at least half an hour of that was spent removing a cat or dog from the middle of our work space). The hardest part are those little clips that go underneath to support the mattress. Fortunately, I'm short, so I was the designated "clipper." I'm 5'3"-ish (I'm lying, I'm really 5'2.5", but the driver's license guy said I could have the extra half inch, so my license says 5'3"), and I just had to bend back a smidge to put those clips on. That puts the bottom of the bed part at just around 5' off the ground.Underneath, there's enough room for a TV stand and a small lounging chair. We bought one that sits on the ground and folds out. The ladder does hurt his feet a little, but I think you can buy little grips or something and solve that issue. It's not really a huge deal, and I don't think you'll find anything that will hurt less on another bed. It's just one of the banes of a bunk bed in general. My son's room went from a tiny, cramped space to something that he can actually move around in. The bed was part of an overall effort to give him a room more fitting for a teenager (he just turned 13) than for a little kid. It works well within the space and gave me room to play around with the rest of the layout. The only drawback is that it only holds 200 pounds. While my son has a long way to go before he reaches that, I would be more comfortable if it held a bit more weight. Other than that, I highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for a budget-friendly, relatively stylish loft bed.

Good value & sturdy
Seems sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble if you follow the instructions, though it takes a while. (It may go faster with more than 1 person, and if you have more free space to work in than I did.)
