NIV, Homeschool Mom's Bible, Compact, Leathersoft, Teal: Daily Personal Encouragement Imitation Leather – Special Edition, February 25, 2014

Maybe because I was expecting the worst after reading the other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received this Bible. I bought it used so I paid much less than the new price. I just wanted a smaller Bible that I could put in my purse instead of always worrying about my phone battery running out especially when I’m at church. This fit the bill perfectly. In addition there are 365 devotions throughout written with homeschool moms in mind. No it is not leather, but I wasn’t expecting it because it said “imitation leather” right at the top of this page. The font is small, but not any smaller than my daughter or husband’s compact Bibles. This Bible is definitely smaller than my large study Bible I had in college, but that’s what I wanted. I don’t know if I would pay $24 for it, but it is well worth the $10 I did pay. I love it.

Love the cover and size. Love the dated daily devotionals.I am disappointed in the paper quality it’s so thin you can’t underline or highlight without messing up the other side of the page.I knew the font was small from other reviewers but it is SMALL.Overall I like it. Had I been able to flip through it first I don’t know that I’d have bought it.

Easy fast daily devotionals geared towards homeschool moms in an adorable package perfect for morning coffee time or taking on the road for appointments.

I hate to give a Bible a poor review but it wasn't what I expected. I thought there would be more devotions, thoughts, tidbits, and the like, for homeschool moms throughout its pages but unfortunately there was not. The biggest downer for me personally was that the print is so unbelievably small. I do not wear glasses but do use reading glasses from time to time and even with those on it was difficult to read. So, it was a complete waste of money for me because I barely use it now. It's very pretty on the outside, but simply not the worth the money.
