MEH...it's OK.
This is comfortable but the velcro attachment is lame (why velcro?). I have another brand that simply has an adhesive on the attachment side that doesn't leave any residue and I prefer it's overall look and feel vs. this one (kinda ugly and bulky). Too expensive so look around before buying here...

Nice addition to the chin rest
I've been using these pads for many years now. I wear a beard that, over time, ruins the pad material. Thus, I have to order replacement pads. This is no fault of the product. The pad makes my chin rest much more comfortable for me! They are worth a trial if you find your rest to be uncomfortable.

Comfort and security
It provided me with just the right amount of grip I needed to secure my violin! Also, it made the chin rest much more comfortable, no more neck jabs.

Not very useful
Just not suitable for me. Just a scrap of foam with velcro strip. Ridiculous price.

Great for the Viola and Violin
The strad pad makes practicing a lot more comfortable for both your chin and your neck! I would recommend to anyone. I have both types the Velcro and the elastic kind. I slightly more prefer the elastic kind but both are great!
