Bought for use in smart home.
I’ve had a amp hanging from my ceiling for over two years after my remodel to control my ceiling speakers, it was an eyesore.Food for thought, why not take the rotary knob for the zones off the wall, hemm out the hole more, and put an RV stereo in? Genius! Connects via bluetooth to my google hub max and allows me to skip/pause with the unit, and also independently control both bedroom and living room volumes.Fits perfectly in a two gang wall hole and can be set up using a 12v 5amp power supply for home usage.Functions as a AM/FM stereo, Bluetooth, aux and HDMI receiver. also is hooked to my smart tv in my living room, so I can hook the hdmi from my laptop to it, and it displays on my tv, and plays audio in both zones (hdmi out and audio in wires need to be connected to TV’s hdmi in and headphone or audio out to achieve this!Looks sleek and modern, but has to be one of the best, functional ideas I drummed up for my smart home.

User interface issues, poor volume control.
The unit was easy to install. Luckily I wired it and tried it out before cutting up my camper! This is personal preference, but the user interface is really weird. The Zone1 and Zone 2 controls don't make sense. You can turn Zone1 and/or Zone2 off (icon off), but sound still plays through them. There is no difference whether they are on or off. However, if you hold the button for a few seconds, you can mute either of them. I think the icon being on or off affects the volume control working on that channel. It works, but it's just strange to me.Regarding the volume, as I've seen in a few other posts, at volume 0, you can still hear sound. Volume 1 is very loud. Not overbearing, but too loud for a level 1 volume. The volume knob also has some responsiveness issues. I could turn the knob and nothing happened at times.I saw someone else received a firmware update, but I already returned the unit.I wish it worked better because it is a nice, compact unit.

HDMI input and output ISN'T functional!!!!!!!
Easy and straightforward to install. Good clear sound though the bass is a little weak. Plays from a number of sources including Bluetooth, USB and Aux inputs. BUT: Don't be fooled by the HDMI input on the front panel and output on the back. While it passes the video signal through to the TV admirably, it isn't able to read the audio signal at all! So, what is the function of these HDMI jacks? Clearly, they were put there only to mislead the buyer since there's no reason that I can see to use the receiver as an HDMI coupling. The description gives no indication of this disappointing flaw. In fact, it seems to state the opposite: "Hemi command center - create an unbeatable audio and visual experience with all of your services connecting via HDMI. Connect your satellite or other digital services to the TV monitor and enjoy your favorites." This is especially galling since the unit was supposedly designed for RV's which almost always have both audio and video equipment. If HDMI isn't important to you, then this might be a fine receiver/tuner for you, but I wouldn't recommend it based on their deceptive item description.

Pretty good sound but has some isolation issues
I had to upgrade my receiver in my RV after I installed new speakers and overloaded the 15yr old one. This one definitely has better and crisper sound. I like the Bluetooth feature to cast the audio from my laptop to the speakers. The only complaint is that I agree with the review from chad that there is audio bleed-through from other channels/modes. When there is silence from the BT input, you can also hear a muted version of the FM station you last used.

best replacement
So our previous factory installed furrion radio for a coleman 2455bh was a piece of crap. always had to factory reset it and the bluetooth was so hard to connect to.. We reached out to fellow rv campers and most have replaced their pieces of crap factory stereos as well. So we chose this model and installed it with ease, colored wires made it easy to just attach to the rv system. Now we have a great in dash receiver that fit our needs. The wife walked off with her phone while connected to the bluetooth. She got away with over 200 ft away before it lost signal. The old system she couldnt even go out to the door 10-15 with out losing signal. Great price, ez install and very satisfied

Don't believe everything you read
I almost didn't buy this because so many people claimed that the volume was to high even at absolute minimum. I bought it figuring that if the claims were true I'd send it back. I bought it as a replacement for the oem Jensen JMW22 that came in my 2022 Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS. It had the sound quality of a 1970s clock/radio. This one is a vast improvement, and get this IF YOU TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN you hear nothing. Maybe they fixed it, who knows. It was an exact fit, did not need to alter existing hole. Wiring was not bad, took about 30 minutes. I just ordered 4 5.5 inch speakers.
