- Upon its first airing in the 1970s, Kojak was an instant hit and soon achieved a massive worldwide following, running until the 1980s and then continuing as a series of TV movies.
- Featuring the instantly recognizable Telly Savalas as lieutenant Theo Kojak, an abrasive New York detective, the show generated a host of famous catchphrases but most fondly remembered was Kojak's love of lollipops. Kojak featured a bronze Buick which was originally released in 1976 by Corgi and this latest version has been produced using largely the original tooling.

Mmm, who loves ya baby? Collectors and fans of Detective Theo Kojak, the self-proclaimed Super Cop, will appreciate their hero finally getting his due. This reissue of the original Corgi 1976 model Buick Regal is nicely reproduced in this detailed die-cast 1:36 scale model (with working front doors). So is the man himself, in a typical action pose from the great '70s TV series Kojak. Best enjoyed while watching the man in action in one of his made-for-television movies. --S. J. Kurtz
