For Iaido and Japanese martial sword art practice, it can also be worn with traditional casual Japanese wear (Yukata).

Poorly stitched made in China garbage
As soon as I removed it from the package, loose threads were visible, especially on the embroidered design. After just 3 iaido classes, stitching at one end completely came apart. It’s going in the garbage now. I did some research and apparently there are two versions of this belt. This one is the “regular” version that’s made in China. It's typical made in China quality...as in pure garbage. The other is the “deluxe” version that is made in Japan. I guess if you plan on doing some cosplay, this version could work. But If you plan on using this for actual martial arts...pay the extra money and get the deluxe made in Japan version.

Gets the job done but beware if over 38 inch waist
I've own one in the past and have realized as I've gained weight you must stay below a 38 waist. Or be forced to make the 'square' style of tie. It sucks but... it will force you to loose weight. The obi is quality and will last you a long time.

Arrived on time, is what was advertised
I ordered a new obi for my iaido practice. It came quickly, arrived when stated and my first use of it yesterday was great. Keeps my saya stable without being too rigid. Moderately priced.

Tozando - always perfect.

Good quality
A nicely made product that looks great. In my case I learned our dojo only uses rank belts for Iaido though so it’s not really useful to me
