Idk, maybe to pull up on the sock. I dont like it. Feels weird up against my shin.

Q: Fits shoe size men's 6.5 - 11. that's a big difference! once size does not fit all. why don't they have diff sizes?

They stretch like all socks do. I bought as a gift and they looked to be on the smaller side. If you are a 10.5 or 11 they may be more snug that you’d prefer in my opinion.

I think so, but they may be a bit large, for the price and quality and the fact that feet grow I would purchase for a size 5 foot.
