Sweet Baby Prodigy CD for Babies and Toddlers!
I purchased this CD, because we love 30-Minutes to a Quiet Baby by Baby Prodigy. Our grandson, who is only 9 months now, loves Dougie and Dottie duck. He holds on to a nearby table and has quite an attention span for the quickly moving characters, objects, and music. We have absolutely no complaints about this CD. It even held the interest of our 3.5-year-old granddaughter. A young baby can watch this over and over without being bored. It will probably be useful in helping them learn language through repetitive watching.

Amateur production of Baby Einstein
I bought this based on the good reviews it had. I was very disappointed and my 17 month old daughter doesn't even watch it. Dookie and Dottie look like puppets that were made by children, and the visuals of the toys look like someone was holding a handycam. It is shaky and the sound is very bad. The movement and camera angles switch rather quickly which I didn't think was appropriate for babies and toddlers. The shapes that sing are creepy like the Canadians in South Park (which I used to watch before I had my baby) where the upper portion is disconnected from the bottom portion. I guess compared to the Baby Einstein collection, this one doesn't cut it at all. There are some Baby Einsteins that are boring, such as the Shakespeare and Language Nursery, but at least my daugher will watch it. I definitely do not recommend this DVD if you've been watching Baby Einstein.Another really good DVD collection that my daughter loves is the Fisher Price baby ones (Nature Baby, Baby Moves, Musical Baby, and Baby's Day). She likes all four of them and I really recommend these, as they show lots of babies and repeat a lot of words.I'm thinking about donating the Baby Preschool DVD since it was such a waste of money that I could have used on something better.

My 20 month old LOVES Dookie and Dottie!
I see that this video was created almost over 8 years ago. It doesn't matter because my son ADORES this video. He can't get enough of it. He likes the images. Even though Baby Einstein has more sophisticated characters, the simple characters and their stories are great. They are just right for him. Disco, Disco, Disco...when they group together and dance, he does too. I highly recommend this!

Baby loves this the best!
My son (19 months) loves this video. He has had this video for almost a year and still can't get enough of it. He has many of the Einstien videos and a few other "best of dvd's" but this one is always the one he wants to watch. He loves dancing around with the shape quartet and I love the fact that it talks to him and teaches him cause and effect, shapes, etc. It's interactive and not just pretty pictures.

Baby LOVES it!!
My daughter loved the first Baby Prodigy DVD, which she started watching around 6 months old. She is now 14 months and the 2nd one finally came out. She loves it even more than the first. It is so much fun and so musical--she bops up and down and really gets into it. Baby Prodigy outdid themselves with this one!

My Son LOVES This
To anyone who is familiar with Baby Einstein, this is kind of a cheap knock-off of that. But it doesn't matter what I think; it matters what my son thinks. My 19-month-old LOVES this DVD. He loves ducks, and I think the Dookie and Dottie puppets are why he loves it so much. He watches the whole DVD with delight and giggles at the parts with Dookie and Dottie. Whenever my boy is testing my patience, I know I can always put this on to buy myself 20-or-so minutes of sanity.

LOVE this!
My girls are four years old and still LOVE this video. Is it a little different than other baby/ kid videos? Yes. But I think that's why they still love it. They pretend to BE Dookie and Dottie. Nonstop :) Our DVD is worn out!

One of my daughter's favorite DVDs
I just can't believe how my children love to watch Baby Prodigy over and over again. Great Job... It's become a must watch in our house hold on a daily basis.
