The battery fits perfectly in the V7. Fortunately, I waited to write this review, because after 4 months, the battery has completely died. Should have spent the extra money for an OEM battery. At least those will last 2-3 years.I swapped batteries, and made sure there was nothing wrong with my vacuum. It’s definitely the cheap battery. Buyer beware. You get what you pay for. This is trash.

I had this battery about 4 months and it quit charging. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they sent me a replacement. Easiest warranty claim I have ever done. Excellent Seller!!!!!!

This battery fit well and worked fine up intil this past weekend when it just died. No symptoms, no indications, just stopped accepting a charge. This is the second one (from two different manufacturers) to do this. I'm wondering if there is some nuance or subltedy built into the Dyson vacuum design or the chargering system that these guys aren't able to reverse engineer. We have a third one now (it was provided to us by the first manufacturer we bought these from) as a replacement that I was not expecting to get when I bought this one. I will update if/when that one dies.

Worked great initially. Like many of the other reviews here, it permanently fails VERY fast. Just over 3 months. Used it yesterday, worked great. Today, flashing blue and wont turn on. I used a multimeter on the charger, and its outputting perfect voltage (26.1v). Tested battery....dead on the output side. I assume the PCB has failed.I initially marked this 1 star as 3 months is terrible, but I did contact the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement. They do offer a 12 month warranty and stand by it. With that, I upgraded it to 4 stars as the battery did work great when it worked, and they were prompt and no issues with sending a replacement.

It came in a very clean and neatly wrapped box. I removed and installed the battery in less than 5 minutes. The battery was pre charged and turned on immediately. But you have to charge it just in case and it works great. I bought another one for my V8 animal and I'm waiting on it as I write this review. The basic battery that the unit comes with only has 2000 Mah and the replacement is 4600 Mah. It adds to the time used but not the suction so don't expect it to sound out act like a souped up motor. Plus it is a lot cheaper on Amazon to buy than Dyson. You will see. I hope this helps you out.

In the beginning The battery functionality was great last long bit now today after six moths i was ready to use the vacuum is totally dead no light nothing very disappointed

So far so good. Replaced Dyson Stick battery pack with this one and it is doing the job. Will just have to see how long it lasts. It was a speedy transaction and received the battery pack in a timely manner. Would buy from this seller again.

Had it less than a year. Worked great but now it is dead. Not sure how long they are supposed to last but was hoping longer than that.
