First I bought one. Then 2 more!! This is an attractive, semi-durable, roomy, lightweight, practical item. Semi-durable bc you're not going to use this to haul heavy or very sharp items.It's a petite version of a normal size backpack, but not so small that it wouldn't lend itself to more practical uses. Additionally, the arm straps could, but may not, handle extremely heavy loads. IMO, it's not intended for an "only" pack on extended stay, week-long hiking trips, or climbing Mt Everest. As an add-on, definitely!!The snaps are plastic, not metal.My intention for use, originally, was hiking/camping. Once I got it, I wanted to use one as an everyday purse. So I got another color, and am using it for a roomy purse with sufficient pockets for papers, makeup, extra jacket/sweater, kindle, whatever "stuff" I need, etc.Also great for day trips, flea markets, craft festivals, biking, school, sports activities, gym bag, groceries, concerts (if they allow backpacks, some don't), emergency kit for car, baby supplies, pet needs, ....anything! While this is water resistant and I haven't put wet items in, I'd suggest keeping a plastic bag inside to use, if necessary, for swimsuits, wet diapers, and what not.I am short, and have back, neck, and shoulder issues. I have no issues with this pack. It balances perfectly whether using over both shoulders or hanging from one. Sorry, Vera Bradley, you've been replaced!!!!When the vendor followed up to ask how I liked it, I responded, "I don't like it, I LOVE it!!!"Speaking of vendor, I had some special requests, and they are so responsive, personable, and aim to please.So why a 3rd pack??? My daughter travels stateside and overseas for work and pleasure. Fits great under airplane seat. I didn't want mine sprouting legs and running off with her, lol!! So I bought her one as a gift!! Dodged that bullet!! Ha ha ha!The price, quality, practicality and dependability of vendor, makes this a great gift option.It's gender and age neutral. Children, teens, hipsters, genX, yuppies, mid-life crisis participants, elderly (hang it on walker if you have one!!), etc. Looks good on everyone. I'm sure I'll be getting more for other purposes. Get yourself one, or two, or three, or.......

I was contacted by a J.Anderson via email on how I like the product. At that moment I was not very happy with it. The pocket was defective. He asked for pictures and said he would get another one out in the mail that day. I was surprised with in two days I had a new backpack. This one was defective free. It is the right size for travel. I do have to say the customer service was worth the inconvenience.

At first I was worried that it wasn't going to fit everything I needed to carry. It has PLENTY of room!! Very light weight. I wanted to downsize so I wasn't carrying 3 bags during the week (work out items, purse, lunch) I am using it to carry my workout clothes (including my shoes), essential purse items (wallet etc), my lunch. I still have room! All the pockets if offers to store items is so helpful. The way it folds up into it's own case will be really helpful when we travel. I can't say enough good things about this backpack! Love it.

I am very happy with the pack but gave it a 4 star rating because I had to repair the net on the side pocket which was not sewn down. I think an inspection of the products would prevent this from being shipped to a customer. Had I not discovered it before using it, I could have easily lost the item I placed.The other 2 that I bought were for grandsons, and I do not know if theirs were perfect or not.I thoroughly went through every light-weight backpack on the net before ordering this one. I did not expect any defects. Please share with manufacturer.

The best, well priced travel back pack ever! The back pack is made of quality material, ample pockets and compartments for storage only adds to the value of this pack. We are traveling abroad now and it has proven to be the best pack for the beach, hiking and everthing else. It is nice looking and the storage case it goes in is a perfect size tho for in your luggage. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a day pack, beach pack or a useful smart looking carrier for everyday use!! I am considering purchasing another for my husband!!

I don’t recommend this product, it isn’t durable, the zipper on the front bag fail with a few times of use and begun to be stuck and didn’t close well, I can’t fold it again or store something in the front bag; it is too small to pack a day travel stuff, even if you pack few things. If you are looking for a real hiking backpack it isn’t an option. Now I use it as spare backpack in my car.

I was a bit disappointed with the backnpack. It appeared to be larger then it is. Not as roomy as my current backpack. The zipper continues to get caught in the material.

Nice pack for a day trip. A bit thin and smaller than i expected but for the price and use it was adequate. If i wanted a more substantial one it would have been many times the price of this one. It does pack away easily so i can take it along in my jacket and open it up if i need it. Its not padded but again it served the purpose.
