Brought this thru PHL and SAN (placed in my carry on bag) with no issue. Wore it thru Disney Cruise Line security - they used the wand scanner and once I showed them the bottle opener they let me pass thru without question.The flat blade screwdriver has no sharp edges and one would be hard pressed to use this as an offensive weapon. **Q: What size wast will it go to** A: Im a 34" waste and i had to cut plenty off still **Q: can you wear this with out it standing out?** A: The buckle is not so large that it stands out in a bad way. **Q: How is the belt adjusted? Its got a unique buckle design and I'm having a tough time telling how you'd tighten/loosen it.** A: It adjusts with a normal web thru 2 slots. Then when you have it to the right size, the other side of the buckle has a web loop to undo it easy. It is pretty cool. The tool itself is handy and slips free with ease, as well as slips back in the buckle without trouble. Though there are two little nitpicks I have preventing this product from getting five stars.First one is that the belt has to be cut to size. In the short run, not a big deal. Cut with your choice of blade and then melt the nylon with a lighter or match. In the long run however it causes the nylon to fray with continuous use even if you melt the frayed end. This is of course common in this type of material, so expect to fix it every so often.The second and probably the biggest, The buckle itself seems to have been put together incorrectly upon first delivery. Sadly this is to be expected with most Gerber products, but is an easy fix with a standard flat head screwdriver or allen wrench. Simply take apart the sheath buckle and flip it around to make it look like the picture of the product.All in all, happy with it.
