iBen USB Personal Travel Humidifier, Mist Max Flow, 8 Hour 35ml

We bought this travel humidifier for use in hotels, since our son is plagued with nose bleeds at night. It works well, but you really must soak the stem piece in water before plugging it in to get the humidifier started. I recommend putting it in bottle of water, rather than a cup (we used it in a plastic cup once, but once enough of the water had been used up, the weight of the humidifier tipped the cup over -- the stem isn't long enough to reach the bottom of any water bottle, so the weight of the remaining water does not allow the bottle to tip over). This humidifier is placed on the night stand right beside my son. It only lets off a very small amount of moisture and, as such, will not humidify an entire room (even a small room), but it works for our application.

Does not put out a lot, but takes off the edge of a hotel room in the winter. Put it right next to your head and it will help.

This stopped working after 3 months

Unit has been working for a few months now and continues to work well. Key to maintaining function is to use ONLY bottled water and not just refill the bottle with tap water. pushes out a fair amount and is great for a cubical or smaller enclosed area.

Like this - works well for small areas.

Very unhappy. Hooked it up as instructed. Still not working. Waited over an hour. Nothing. Troubleshooted. Nothing. Do not buy.

Didn't consistantly work. Not sure why. Left it in the motel room as garbage.

Worked for a day. When I turned it on the next day, it didn't work anymore.
