Replcement for 410 bass cabinet
You better reinforce you cabinet if you switch to these. Great clear tone and low end response all the way up into the higher registers of the bass.

PERFECT BRITISH BASS for small bass combos and extension cabinets
I bought this when I recalled my late friend’s Marshall Major 200 watt tube amplifiers with 15” Celestion bass speakers. That amp had “muscle” that challenged the traditional Ampeg SVT bass amplifiers but with that British emphasis on low midrange. So far I’ve installed the 10” speaker in a wedge monitor cabinet to use as a stage monitor or to share with an onstage drummer. Tomorrow I’m installing the 12” version in an extension cabinet and bypassing the 3-way crossover circuit (damaged fuses) since I rarely run more than 100 watts into an 8-ohm load.

Nice sounding speaker
I put this in my little Peavey 1 x 10" bass amp. It actually improved the sound a lot, plus it made it lighter by a couple of lbs. The quality of the high end is much sweeter sounding, but there's still plenty of warmth in the lows. I use this amp for low to moderate volume acoustic situations with both electric & upright basses, and the Celestion was definitely a good upgrade.

Those aren't Bass speakers!!!
I tried to save weight in my Marshall bass cabinet. Unfortunately I couldn't dial in the sound. Had to crank the bass dial, cut mids and treble. So I tried them with Guitar. Wow they sound glorious! Definitely a heavy metal thing. They fixed all the problems I was having with my guitar amp. The 10" don't sound like the green label 15" speakers. No and it surprised me like a barking squirrel. They are growing, bright and angry. I love them more than the 12" green backs. Awesome!

Definitive 10' replacment for bass amp clarity!
I bought these to replace the tired Paragons in my GK 400RB-II. They are lighter, yet provide more beef at the low end and bring a superior clarity to the bass sound coming out of my amp. I got a lot of compliments on how clean and beefy my amp sounded by people that had heard be playing with the same up at other gigs. Feather light so now my GK 210 wedge 400RB is easier to pack about and sounds killer! These are 8 ohm speakers with the standard 8 hole mounting- back has dual terminal tabs on each phase - but be careful - they do bend easily.
