B217 Portable Bath Bench, by Carex, Model: B217-86 - 1 ea

This hangs over the side of my tub - and the rubber feet were impossible to put in - had to shave the rubber to get them in and then it only fits the one side of the bathtub only (by the wall) and hangs over the other side. Too bad it doesn't have long legs for the ground on the side that hangs over. So will have to find some rubber to fit under the side that hangs over to fit the part the hits the side of the tub. There are virtually no assembly instructions. 5 drawings that don't make total sense at all. It has the four screw type legs with rubber on them to put in - which I have NOT put in as I don't see the purpose for them and there is no explanation. This bench just sits across the tub like a board (is what I was originally looking for). It came with the package open and dirty. The bench itself might be ok, I'm hoping - otherwise will have to find some other use for it. After sterilizing it for it's delivery.Everyone else gave it a great review. Maybe they didn't have to put it together themselves. Which is easy enough but the rubber needed to be shaved to fit in the slots and I still have to see if the other feet with be usable; I think not with my small tub. I think there are just a lot of options as there are many different sizes of styles of bathtubs out there.There is nothing today that rates 5 stars - this I give 3 as it will be usable. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without telling them what I went through.

Order this particular portable bath bench after a relative was in a car accident that broke his leg in multiple places. He could not use the standard bath bench or chair - this has worked great. I am told he took it with him on a trip so he could use the shower in the place he was staying. Fortunately, his leg is healing well.Did have a hard time locating this particular item - but it has been worth the search.

I have a narrow tub and all of the bath stools with legs just didn't fit. Even though my fiberglass bath tub (Jacuzzi brand) has narrow edges - the Carex bath bench works perfectly. It's comfortable, easily adjustable and stores easily too. I can't recommend it highly enough. Thanks Carex for making bathing time enjoyable again!

I like this style because it just lays across the back of the tub. No legs to have to adjust the height on. When you are done, it's easy to lift it out of the tub. Could also be used as a bath table across the tub for a non-handicapped person. Place to put your soap and plenty wide to sit on. Works well for someone of only mild disabilities.

I had a great need for this product when I ordered it. I ordered it on 7/10 and though it was clearly stated that it could be into August before I received it - I discounted that info because past experience with Amazon has been that orders have been received in a matter of 2 - 3 days! When on 7/23 (I believe) I still had not received product when on 7/10 it was supposedly shipped - I gave up. My disappointment is with the vendor - NOT Amazon. Amazon credited my account immediately. It was agreed that if it did arrive in next few days I would let Amazon know and they would bill again....that did not happen. I have torn cartiledge in knee and could not stand on my own...that bath bench was very high priority for me.

you could not tell how bench would attach to tub and thus i found that it could not be attached to my tubtotal waste of money
