Folds up really small considering how big it is when you lay it out. We’ve used it as a picnic rug on grass and on sand. Ideally it would have 4 more pegs to pin it down - one in the middle of each side- as it is so light the wind can lift it up a little. Had lots of people asking where it’s from as they want one. Also good it has the handy clip in the bag for easy carrying

I didn't use this for its intended purpose.I bought it to be a cool surface for the cats in the heat. It's easily portable, so we can take it into the whichever room we're in.We can keep it part folded and have it at whatever size we want to fit the space we're in.It's much cooler than a rug, and in the heatwave we're having, they need a nice cool surface to sprawl out on that isn't their actual cool pads. Something cool, but not cold, to give them more options.It's also waterproof, so we will be able to put refrigerated / frozen bottles of water on, to give them a good way to keep cool.They love the sound it makes, and they've been playing with toys on it, which is great, as my eldest has only learnt to play in the last couple of years, and has started to play on his own on this mat, which is something we've been trying to get him to do for quite some time.It's very lightweight and portable. It's a good wipe clean surface, but it's very large, so I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean the whole thing properly.I can't comment on how well the stakes work, as obviously I'm not using them.It comes in a nice little bag to keep the mat and the stakes in.It's withstood claws so far, though they've only had it for a couple of days. They are attacking it quite a bit though, as they really do love it, and love trying to get to toys hidden underneath it. So it's definitely not going to fall apart easily.A great cheap purchase to help two cats feel better in the heat.

V small, light, dampproof & actually fits back into its own bag easily after use!! Nice & big & the pegs & sewn in corners help hold it down securely. Love it!

This is an awesome mat for the beach. I love that you can peg in down so it doesn’t flap or blow away and it’s so easy to clean and get sand off. Plus I dries really quickly. It folds really small so it’s easy to carry/store.

The mat is a good size and comes with pegs to keep it down. It is light and folds into the carry bag. Unfortunately, it's a bit too lightweight so is difficult to get into position and pegged down alone, you can feel everything on the ground through it and it's not wholly waterproof so leaves you feeling a bit damp

This product is good quality and large. It is of course thin, and not padded, as that is what it is advertised as. Very pleased, fits in my day bag easily incase needed with the kids.

Very thin fabric which look like some kine of rip stop, synthetic, but fabric no just plastic foil like some reviewers climes.Fairly good protection from wet grass, after some time might require waterproofing.Seems to be easy to clean (sheep poos don't stick to it ;-)).Very lightweight (probably thanks to thickness) fabric itself look a bit like waterproof top for older types of tents, to some extent can be stretched so in right tension it should be good for making temporary rain shelter.Plastic pegs are made of plastic but not very hard( i would say same strength class as thin metal ones) so not very strong.On short i think it's good value for money versatile blanket for short trips.Don't expect any thermal protection of it or added comfort.

Really easy to use, so compact and easy to take anywhere with you would fit in your handbag. Has pegs to hold it down to the ground. It says waterproof but if you are sat on wet grass you do get a bit of a damp bum . Used this on the beach and on grass it’s great
