I’ve been using this eyeliner for a while and really like it. It applies smoothly and the color is nicely pigmented. It lasts for several hours without smudging too much. Great value for the price and perfect for everyday use. I have tried many different branded eyeliners but this is winner.

This is the Holy Grail of waterproof black eyeliner pencils. It's truly waterproof and does take effort and eye makeup remover to clean off, but you'll NEVER worry about it smudging even in rain or at the pool. Not only is it bulletproof, it's extremely pigmented, giving the best color payoff I've found especially in the waterline. One swipe in the waterline gives full coverage..it's amazing. And the cherry on top.. it's under $5. I've repurchased 60+ times!

My fave and hard to find anymore. Glides on smoothly and stays all day. One gentle swipe and your line is there. My eyes are sensitive and have never had an issue with this eyeliner. Water proof but also easy to remove at the end of the day with my Mary Kay oil free eye makeup remover. One pencil lasts a long time but I always like to have a spare on hand.

I bought this to try based on the reviews and also the fact that Rimmel mascaras and eyeliners have worked well for me over the years. When I first used this pencil, it went on smoothly and perfectly, and lasted all day. The color is gorgeous. Not too dark and not too coppery like some other brown liners can be. However, for some odd reason, the pencil now does not work as well as before. I really struggle to get it to go on. Application is patchy and it's hard to correct it and get it looking nice. It's like the pencil has dried out even though the cap is always on. I now just use it to make a light line and then go over it with a different brown liner to build up the color and get that beautiful line I'm wanting. This is the only time I've purchased this Rimmel pencil so I don't know if it's an isolated issue. I may give it another chance and purchase another after I use up this one. Also, I skimmed through other reviews and noticed people complaining about the pencil getting chewed up in the sharpener. Please note, especially if you're new to gel liner pencils, you need a special sharpener designed for these type of pencils as they're tougher than traditional wood liners. This type of pencil is more of a plastic type and standard sharpeners can't cut through the material. I have found that Revlon makes an EXCELLENT sharpener for around $6 and it can be used on both traditional and gel liner pencils. I highly suggest investing in one of these sharpeners for your gel liner otherwise you will end up aggravated and disappointed, as well as out some $$$. Overall, this pencil is worth checking out. I took off one star because of the application issue I mentioned but if the next pencil works better then I'll come back and change my rating.

Because of the name, Rimmel, I bought this eyeliner and am very happy with it. The price was right, but I had a great deal of trouble trying to apply it. I['m not used to wearing a lot of make-up, so I think it is my fault I couldn't use it correctly.. I would highly recommend this item to anyone who know how to apply make-up correctly.

One of my favorite eyeliners has always been Rimmel... I have replaced the brown shade a few times . The last time my eye started to have a reaction and I saw Carmine was added to the ingredient which I am allergic to so I stopped buying it for a long time . I occasionally would go back and check to see if they still had the Carmine ingredient . And the last time I did a search and looked at the ingredients on this shade . It's such a creamy long wearing color and product so I was supposed to see the Carmine wasn't seen on the ingredients and I looked at a couple of places .. when I got this one . I immediately looked at the back of the package and sure enough one of the ingredients was Carmine ci 75470 ,, so I can't even open this or get it near my eyes . They always say the ingredients on the package is what is used for that item .. I will give this to a friend that doesn't have an allergy .. I just wish that the proper listings for each thing sold could be documented on the ingredient list on Amazon . If they can sell a product they should be at least able to take an image of the back so we don't have to go around searching to see what is in it . And maybe this is an older release and they have stopped using Carmine . It would have helped for the seller to take a snapshot of the ingredients . Outside of that ingredient I absolutely love the creaminess of this eyeliner . I use it still in other colors but have never been able to use purple or brown in many years ..

I love the color of this eyeliner and is super easy to apply.

I usually don’t write reviews but i was pleasantly surprised at its stay power. I was bawling and when i looked into the mirror, i realized it did not smudge that badly. It didn’t run down my face and there was still product on my waterline. I can’t say it didn’t smudge at all but i will say it wasn’t that bad since I didn’t set it with powder or anything.
