Child's Toddler Plush Bee Costume (Size: 2T-4T)

After scouring the internet for a bee costume for my 23 month old son, I settled on this one and couldn't have been more pleased! Firstly, it is adorable. Secondly - and maybe more importantly - it is excellent quality. You can tell it's very well made, unlike most of the cheaply made costumes out there. (You do get what you pay for, and I'd rather pay more for something that looks good and won't fall apart.) It has also held up perfectly through two (gentle) wash cycles, since my son wore it for two Halloween events, and managed to get lollipop drool all over it both times 😂 (Note, I did hang dry it, though it says you can tumble dry low.) We will definitely be passing this down to our younger cousin! As for fit, the body was a bit big for him, and gaped at the back of the neck. But he wore a black onesie underneath, so you really couldn't tell. The head piece was borderline too small, and he has a relatively small/average sized head for his age. So it may be too small if you have an older child, or toddler with bigger head. Hope this helps!

Great costume! For just a few dollars more than what I would pay ina big box store I feel like I got double if not triple the quality. It was thick and plush, sewn well, and made with quality materials. I'm thrilled with this costume. It was a teensy big but it was impossible to tell as the headpiece is adjustable thanks to velcro on both the inside and the outside of it. Since the costume is made to go over a shirt it was impossible to tell there as well. I'm excited that we will have a costume to play in for a couple years and potentially even a costume for a younger sibling. Seriously, great quality and love the flexibility to use at multiple ages.

There were a lot of options to choose from as far as bumblebee costumes but this is the one we went with and we were pleased with the way it worked out for our guy who is 18 months, ~31 inches tall, ~27 pounds, ~19 inches head circumference. Everything came intact and as expected and it was not very difficult to put on our guy. As you can see from the pic, the bumblebee suit could fit a taller, bigger child, but his headpiece fit rather well. While the bee costume was long and baggy on him, it did not hurt his ability to walk in any way. And the extra room in the costume turned out great when we wanted to put extra layers on him for being out in chilly weather. Here's hoping we can get some additional use out of this at playtime in the months ahead.

Very cute! Though arm holes were a bit to big in my opinion. Was able to fix them by sewing them up to a smaller size. Also added some darts to fit my 2 yro small body. Otherwise super cute and lots of complements.

The costume fit my 2.5 year old perfectly at Halloween. We paired it with some black sweatpants, a black long sleeve t-shirt, and black sneakers. He was the cutest bumblebee in the whole world. We do not plan on having anymore children so won't be handing it down, but it could easily be worn again. We'll probably pass it along to another growing family. :-)

This costume is adorable. My two year old daughter wanted to be a bumble bee just like Dora the Explorer for Halloween. It fit great, was comfortable enough for her to play around the house in, and unlike the tutu style bumble bee costumes, kept her warm during trick or treating.
