Wonderful purchase
My mother and I just moved into a house that was built in 1905. We love it, but unfortunately, the floors in the bedrooms lean. I can live with the incline during the day, but it was bothering me at night, laying in my bed. These risers were the solution. They were among the few risers I found that were 1" high, and stack-able. That made it easy to adjust for the crooked floors (one side of my bed needed to be raised up an inch higher than the other side). Now, I hardly notice the crooked floors at all, because my bed is level. The risers themselves are very durable, and stack easily. They feel very solid, and I love that they're clear, rather than colored plastic. My mom wound up using them on one side of her bed as well, because they worked so well for me. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.A few quick notes for anyone buying these risers:1: We have wood floors, and the rubber on the risers is enough to keep the risers stationary...mostly. I notice that my bed gradually shifts a little over time, and I have to push it back into position.2. Though you get 8 risers, you only get four rubber bottoms for those risers.3. If you're using these for a bed, it can be hard to get the bed wheels into the cradle on the risers. You might need some help to make sure the wheels are in a good, stable position. These are small issues, and not enough for me to change my rating of the product. I'm so glad that I got them, and I would definitely recommend them.

Simple solution to an awful problem
I have a wonderful Steelcase desk at home and another at work. These desks have only one major flaw; that being shortness. Well, OK, ugliness too; functionally ugly. I am 6'2" (187cm) and have to work at my desk a lot. Aside from being about 2" (5cm) too low the desk's middle drawer hits the top of my legs making it uncomfortable to work at the desks. The solution was to raise the desks to an ergonomically useful height. I tried blocks of wood; which work however, are troublesome to make and get right. Then I found "Raise Its". One box allows me to raise my desk a full 5cm (2"). The ones I got are clear, and as a result blend in with the flooring better.I bought two sets of "Raise Its". One set for home on carpet and the other for work on something they call carpet but feels more like fleeced cardboard over concrete... which I suppose it is. <grin> Both help make it easier for me to be more comfortable working when I'd rather be playing outside. Is that a good thing?

Better than perfect, well planned and designed set. Raise Its rock!
Though I teased my Mom about using the space under her bed for storage of things that she has too many of (shoes,) I decided to surprise her with raising her bed, with some sort of device that she had heard about from my brother.Being handy in the wood shop, I considered making a set of 4 or 6 very basic wooden blocks, like many of the existing products that I had seen while searching Amazon. When I ran across the "Raise Its," I was immediately drawn to them as they are clear, and practically invisible. This immediately solved my problem of what type of wood I was going to use and the quandary over stain to use to match my Mom's existing bedroom decor. Two days later, I was installing these 4 neat little see-through blocks under my Mom's bed frame. To be such a simple device, the Raise Its are well designed and well thought out, feature packed, contraptions. Not only are they stack-able, but they also came with little anti-slip thingies, and they even have an indent for the bed frame wheels to properly be seated in a stationary manner. The best thing that ever could have been inside the pack was the seventh and eight block. I had not anticipated that the bed's headboard needed to be supported as well. This is a well thought out package in my opinion, especially considering the fact that most of the others, with their bodacious designs, were more expensive and came in sets of only 4.So not only did the Raise Its meet my technical requirements of being low profile, both physically and by design, my Mom was more than impressed. She probably needs only 3 or 4 more King sized beds to hide the rest of her shoes! Thanks Raise Its!!!

Does what it's advertised to do.
My desk at work was a bit too low for me to use my DeskCycle. I got these hoping to make enough clearance to cycle but not so much that my chin rested next to my keyboard. So far, they have worked great. My desk is no light weight, ergonomic affair. It is a heavy duty solid slab of wood. Add thirty pounds of files, ten pounds pens that no longer work, two monitors, a phone the size of Texas, some paperclips, and a 32 ounce coffee and we’re talking a lot of weight. These support it like a champ and there’s no teetering whatsoever despite sitting on carpet and being stacked two high. I can say these Raise-Its did exactly what they’re advertised to do.

Worked great for me!
I bought these about six years ago to add some storage space under our guest room bed. The room was also my craft room so I needed the extra space for all my fabric and other crafting goodies. The risers worked great. I only needed to raise the bed up a little bit to fit my storage containers so I only needed to use one riser on each corner. The bedframe was on casters but they were stable on these risers, which I was worried about. We never had any issues with the bed sliding around on the risers during the years it was up on these risers. The risers themselves didn’t slip either - they stayed in place well on our hardwood bedroom floors. They held the weight of the bed just fine. It was a full bed and we didn’t notice any cracking. We have moved since then, and we got rid of the guest bed, but I’ve been looking for my risers recently because our bed in the master bedroom sits really low and I’ve been wanting to store vacuum sealed bags of winter clothes/blankets underneath it but there isn’t even enough height even for small things like that. I think I lost my risers in the move, so I’m thinking about buying another set since I was so happy with the last ones.

Great product with a great price attached
Where have these been all my life! We had a problem where the cabinet did not fit in the gap as it was hitting the fireplace surround. THe surround is only 7mm high, so this was the perfect option. We bought this for the sole purpose of raising the cabinet off the ground to clear the surround and it worked a treat! Very touch plastic, it's totally see through, and not misted or coloured in any way. I ended up using 6 as we have quite a long cabinet. The only problem I did find was that the top of the risers they have default indentations for other products, the cabinet had different feet and see so we had to improvise. Needless to say it worked, they do exactly what they are supposed to and I cannot be thankful enough! They are meant to increase the height of furniture to allow storage underneath, we have not used it like that. Although we are going to start looking into that, as having some under bed storage would be great! The price is well worth it too, at that price the headache and time you save for moving the furniture to fit is worth it. Would I buy more? Yes, yes i would for sure!

Helpful and affordable mobility aid
Getting out of lower couches and chairs gets more to be more of chore with each passing year. These furniture risers have seen constant and demanding use over the last couple of years. They are easy to place and after awhile you don't notice them. They are strong and stack well. They are stable and don't slip or separate, even on hardwood. Each one is about 1" in height. We have used 2 risers stacked for several of our pieces of furniture. Most furniture legs will fit nicely. A good product.Richard Monks

Does what is says.
I like the stability of these Raise its, and that they work well on carpet. However, they stick out quite a bit from under my couch, so we often stub our toes in them. I wish they had a version with about half the width of these, for small furniture legs. One downside (may be a plus for some) is that it is very hard to move the furniture even an inch with these on, especially on carpets. They are stuck in the carpet, and pulling out the couch (or bed) means it falls off the Raise it, which means that you have to set them up again. This is not so easy to do, especially at the back of the couch/bed if you have other furniture around it.

very useful
I ordered these as I had to start using my console table in the hall as a computer desk but the height of the desk meant I couldn't get my legs under it comfortably. The pack of Raise Its came very quickly and had eight plastic tiles within the box so I could use two under each table leg. They don't look attractive but being clear they are not too conspicuous and they are very useful for the purpose I use them for. Each plastic tile comes with a circular indent so that whatever you rest on top doesn't slip off or move as you use the object.

Did the job
I bought these to raise a table I use when working from home. I thought doing this might help alleviate a few aches and pains I've been getting when using my laptop. They took only a couple of minutes to fix in place and I think the adjustment is helping slightly. The legs just slot into a depression in the top, and although the hole is circular, the square legs fit fine and my table is pretty stable. The only thing is that they are pretty ugly. As someone else pointed out, they're like four big ashtrays - not the prettiest of things to add to your furniture.
