Beats of Time (Beats Duology Book 1)

This book was hard to read for the first half. Then things became very interesting. I enjoyed hearing about past music, which I always loved. Then the final performance was portrayed wonderfully. I hope others get to enjoy this book also.

I liked this book a lot, an interesting look at a possible future, with a fun trip through the history of popular music of the 20th century. The only complaint is the cliffhanger ending.

This book had me hooked from the first page! It projects a really unique (yet plausible) story of the future. Very much reminded me of the TV series Black Mirror as I read it. Easy to follow narrative and great use of a backing soundtrack which includes so many of my favourite songs. Looking forward to a sequel!

Great dystopian/music/YA mash up! Enjoyed the characters, the story and especially all the references to songs I loved when I was younger and still love now. Well worth a read!!

Was really unhappy when it ended. Very intriguing plot line and want to know what happens next! Completely believable premise.
