Fiji Kava Root - Loa Waka 100% Noble Kava (1/2 LB) Farm Fresh

I had been planning to give this a 1 star, was disappointed & for the price. Yet, I had decided to finally complete what was left of it (est. 10 TB), along with a little oil instead of milk. I'd say I had finally experienced something noticeable that was beyond placebo. Having somewhat of a relief from my anxiety (5.5 out of 10) as well as I had noticed pain in my left knee had subsided to an obvious degree (6 out of 10). Unfortunately, that was my remainder that I had. The combination of more than one product seemed to have elevated one another's effects vs using them on it's own.Beforehand, all of the techniques that I've read & videos I had watched of how to increase it's effectiveness did not seem to work with this on it's own after over a week of consistent use.I did experience the numbness in the mouth, which was interesting. It's taste was fine to me, I suppose because I had read & informed myself of the taste of kava before deciding to make a purchase. Tastes similar to what I'd expect tree bark to taste like & it's just earthy. Wasn't nasty flavour, it was tolerable.I did experience a lot of nausea & some vomiting (perhaps due to the ibs) which was not pleasant at all lol.But, for the high price for something similar to the taste of tree bark & of how it is a hit or miss, thus wasting money.. should be inexpensive. Especially of how long it takes for it to potentially work or not even work at all.I wasn't able to prevent the stomach aches while using this, but I suppose it's common for new kava users & finding a balance?The effects of kava were enough to encourage me to try again, but of a different brand I had found elsewhere which has had positive steady reviews. So, I'll see how the other brand goes with better success and hopefully will be able to build up the reverse tolerance many speak of so that I can hopefully reach a sustainable level to use much less of this rich man's beverage. I'm just a working girl who has bills to pay, but want to have successful management of high levels of anxiety & insomnia.. affordably.Who knows, perhaps I may try Kalm with Kava again but of a different type in the future and may have better results.

This stuff WORKS - I didn't know it would make my mouth and throat numb when I first tried it (so don't freak out when it happens to you). This stuff is only supposed to have relaxing effects for a few hours from what I've read, but no joke I think I felt the effects for a WEEK. I was also taking an organic CBD oil at the same time so maybe the two worked together; I don't know. But wow - this tea is pretty amazing.

Very very very very very good!Not harsh just smooth. mellow.Kalm's kavas are of the better qualitiy.I am all too satisfied with the stress dissolving results.Moonsoon Beverages delivers the goods. :)

Very nice, clean-feeling Kava. I use this with an Aluball, as I'd rather not deal with all the kneading. I find that one fill of the Aluball (2 tablespoons) with this Kava gets me nicely happy and relaxed. Great for social activities, and I also enjoy using it before playing shows to ease pre-show jitters and get inside the music a bit more.

Excellent quality and a really enjoyable experience. Once you get past the mud taste my lips and tongue go numb and I start experiencing small waves of euphoria.You will also need to purchase some sort of tea strainer for this.Overall a great high quality product.

Very potent kava. First I had ever tried. Doing a little research lead me to this brand with excellent reviews. I was skeptical of kava at first but was surprised by how good the Loa Waka actually was. Only negative is that it's a little on the expensive side for 1/2Lb.
