Firefly Encyclopedia of Reptiles and Amphibians

I bought this for my wife for her birthday. She is an environmental scientist and avid herb hobbyist. She cannot put this down and is constantly praising this book. It is toned down enough for children to understand these animals.

Loaded with great photos and excellent information. I was fascinated at 82 and an 8 year old I showed it to couldn’t stop talking about it when she went home!

I bought this as a gift for our dentist, who retired recently & owns some Russian tortoises. He was really impressed with the book. It has wonderful photos & lots of information on many, many different species of reptiles & amphibians. Very happy it made him happy!

This book is a great resource for students to study reptiles and amphibians. The pictures are colorful. This book replaced an outdated copy for our school library.

Clear and concise with very good descriptions and images. Very well explained information on the different reptiles and amphibians of the world. Can also be used as a quick reference book to learn more about the types of animals or which families they belong to as well as behaviour and reproduction.
