would have been great if it had the spout with it not delivered as advertised

Could not get the drain valve to stop leaking, no matter how I assembled it. Tried many times until I saw the crack in the gasket. Replaced with a brass fitting.

Product arrived as advertised. Will be making fruit wine soon, keep ya posted.

I bought 2. Very disappointed..All I recieved was 2 overpriced buckets. No bubbler, no hole for gromlet or the gromlet itself. That what makes it a fermenter

I use this as a primary fermenter for mead and spiced ciders. It is the largest bucket I could find and is surprisingly cheap for what it is. The lid does not come with a hole for the included airlock, but they do include the grommet. As long as you have the common sense to be able to drill a 1/2" hole in the lid, the product is a very good deal. The lid has a black O-ring in it, which ensures a good seal. I was surprised to find other 6.5 gallon buckets for double the price that had no seal. Would recommend.
