Bring liquid to a boil, add salt, whisk in polenta and stir for about 5 minutes or until liquid is fully absorbed. Cover and put in a 275 degree oven for 40 minutes and it will come out perfectly cooked and perfectly smooth. Finish with butter, a dash of cream, chopped herbs, and parmesan cheese and you won't be able to stop eating it. Make a larger batch if you want leftovers.
