Fronted by the extraordinary Chloe Chaidez, Kitten has drawn ecstatic praise for their rejuvenation of classic post punk and New Wave pop. "While most hyper-young artists are working at the bleeding edges of dance music, Kitten s rich and atmospheric rock is surprisingly ageless," applauded the Los Angeles Times in a recent live review.

A Sonic Masterpiece From Start To Finish
I understand that the variety of music styles might be a bit much for your average listener. But, keep an open mind and you won’t be disappointed. Each song has some unique quality to its credit. It wears well and you will soon find yourself enjoying tunes that may not have clicked the first time around. There's a bit of a retro early 80's feel. But, I lived that, and this is as good or better than any of it. And if you get an opportunity to see the band live, do yourself a favor and Go! I’ve seen Chloe’s act six times now. This little lady’s onstage performance is too fun for words (and, I’ve seen them all – from Johnny Cash to Judas Priest and everyone in between). Oh, and the best material has most certainly not already been released. This young powerhouse is just getting warmed up. There are no limitations here. See you in Seattle next month C.C. The new material, as well as the back catalog, will keep me dancin' until then.

This Calico Kitten has Many Colors
I'd been waiting for this release ever since I saw Kitten live last year. The album does not disappoint and offers an interesting look at the various shades of Kitten, from the indie/garage-esque hit of G# to the synthpop Like a Stranger, the sounds are quite eclectic.Personally I love the variety but I could see someone who started listening as a result of G# getting upset to find something like Like a Stranger on the there or vice versa. So if you've heard at least a couple of their songs and are still into it then definitely pick up this bad boy up!

Good album
I really like this band's sound, so it's a given that I'm enjoying this new album. Not 5 star worthy because almost half the album's songs aren't new. Why I wait & devotion are my favs right now. If you like Kitten you won't be disappointed.I forgot to add that Kitten is currently on tour, so check out their webpage to see if they are coming to a city near you. Unfortunately, they aren't coming to my city, but I am driving a few hours away to their concert. Can't wait to see them live again!

A noteworthy debut album
Excellent debut album with a great mix of musical talent. Chloe and her band perfectly capture the 80s feel for synthesizer induced music with the added beauty of Chloe's calculated emotional vocals. But the songs definitely do not sound recycled/rehashed, but surprisingly new and fresh!

Addicting
Better than I first expected. Since it has songs from previous EPs, I wasn't sure how well it would flow. The album is now on heavy rotation, I can't stop playing it. Easily one of my favorite in a few years.

Not Automic Kitten, But More Like Ladyhawke
This is a good catchy pop album, suprisignly, its hard to pick a best track as the whole album is good, if i have one negative thing to say about this is its a bit samey like Ladyhawke.

Kitten
Kittenの1stフル。モロに '80s全開な良曲ばかり。とはいえ当時の録音のような低音スカスカではなく、むしろどっしりと響くドラムが心地良い。
