Cheaper feeling then they look.
Decent enough if you’re just starting out. Definitely not high quality.. they look of real wood and sturdy, but actually plastic and feels like it could snap like plastic. But again it will get the job done.. don’t know how long they will last or how long before they begin to crack.

Good quality, good value
Good value for the price. Smooth, nice woodworking but I’m sorry I bought the stained and varnished set. I’m just old fashioned and like wooden spoons that age with use. However, these do wash up nicely because nothing sticks to the varnish. They look pretty on my counter in a holder. I use the ladle often. It is a good size and shape but the bowl portion is a little thicker than I prefer - but then, I’m used to a metal ladle. The company sent a bonus item of a Japanese soup spoon which has surprisingly been quite handy for use in small pots.

Great quality and look! practical handle on the spatula
awesome set! had been u sing for about a month and washed regularly in the dishwasher, better than any set I had purchased before! Love the long handle on the spatula.

Not sure what to do with these spoons
The spoons are too long to be used for soup and too small to be used for mixing. Because of the varnished surface, I would hesitate to use them in cooking. Not suitable as iced tea stirrers. They are attractive but not really useful, I'm afraid.

Worth every penny
Grains stew beautifully exposed with stain and can't wait to use them.

Lovely Utensils
These are beautiful and functional utensils. They're actually light weight. The finishing of the wood feels good in my hand. It's very functional. It was a solid choice. Not one regret. =-)

Poor quality.
The rice scoop broke first use. I wasn't doing anything crazy, just mixing 2 cups of rice. The utensil set was clearly coated first, then had the holes drilled. It would probably absorb water if left in the sink too long. They're definitely light, and easy to clean, but very fragile, and just flat out feels cheep to hold.

SMALL!
Handles are short, and bowls are tiny. Look elsewhere if you are buying these to cook with
