Road bike
I took a chance on these pedals because I get foot pain from SPD and SPD-SL pedals. Very sturdy They, easy to clip in and out. They look a little goofy on my road bikes but comfort beats style any day.

Times are timeless
So far these pedals work just as a long-time Time pedal user would expect. I've had the same Time ATAC pedals on my GT XCR2000 for over ten years without a single glitch or complaint. I put these on my new Motobecane Boris X9 LTD Fat bike less than two months ago. Being a hard tail bike, the Boris has less ground clearance than my full suspension GT, so I've experienced more pedal strikes on the Boris in the short time I've had it than on the GT in the 10+ years on it, and have experienced no problem with these pedals. They're tough! They're Time pedals. What else would you expect?

You get what you pay for
They lasted a year before they started clicking. I put a lot of miles on my mountain bike, 1500 or so on these pedals. They started ticking somewhere around a year old. I thought it was my bottom bracket at first, but no, it was the pedals. They are fine, and I like them because if I have regular shoes I can use them. But the noise is annoying.I guess for the price they were ok. I went to a more expensive pair after these. The prior pairs I bought were more expensive and lasted several years.

Work fine, as expected
Definitely for a mountain bike due to their platform size. They are gray rather than black. Work fine, as expected.

Great Pedal. Nice larger stable platform!
I have had time pedals since the 90's. This is my third pair of Times. I love the larger platform, they feel so much more secure and stable. They also give you a little more confidence having a larger platform under your foot than the old ATAC's. Here in the PNW mud is a constant all winter long, these self clean better than any other pedal.

Built to last!
It's been one year since I put these on my Surly Karate Monkey Single Speed and I love them! I'm a big guy and have ridden well over 600 plus miles on them and they put up with a lot of great and not so great rides. If I to replace these down the road I'll be hitting the buy it again button!

Best pedals I've ever had
Best pedals I've ever had. Easy to find point of engagement, sheds mud much better than SPDs. And easy release.

For the price, you're better off getting some SPDs which will be a much better build quality. Particularly because these pedals come with the ATAC easy release cleats which are garbage if you're trying to do any hopping or quick turning. The build quality is ok at best and they do not come with any added features like tension adjustment.
